2011 Rookie Draft Rankings top 50 (1 Viewer)

With his 4.39/40 Julio Jones just became the #1 wr in this draft. Many ppl, including myself, said he was better than green but this cements it. No way a 6'3" 220lb wr who runs a sub 4.4/40 won't be the first wr drafted.
A few tenths of a second faster in the forty doesn't trump Greens superior receiving skills.. Most of us already knew Green is a better WR, Jones is a stronger athlete, this doesn't change anything drastically. Now we just wait to see where they land.
I live in athens, GA and have seen just about every game for UGA that green has played in. He's the real deal and any nfl team would be lucky to have him but he does not have surperior receiving skills over jones. He had the good fortune to play with better qbs.
Better QBs?! Not this year.

Thank you for the voice of reason.

Thanks for the update!

This year’s TE group doesn’t seem to have a guy or two with that high-end buzz that we often see. I’m thinking maybe none go in the top 15 or so in most standard dynasty drafts.

I don't understand how either of those guys can be ranked below John Clay.

Same with Roy Helu Jr.

Curious if you put Micheal Floyd in your list and where if he gets suspended for the year. Great chance he would be supplemental

FYI, my very initial top-40 for non-PPR is the following (for the topic of discussion - mine are quite a bit different). This is my list, not expected AVG or ADP, i.e., I wouldn't be taking Christian Ponder at the 2.08 in a 12-team league, but that's because I know I can get him later.1) RB Mark Ingram2) WR AJ Green3) RB Mikel LeShoure4) WR Julio Jones5) RB Ryan Williams6) WR Jon Baldwin7) RB Daniel Thomas8) RB Dion Lewis9) WR Torrey Smith10) RB Jordan Todman11) RB Shane Vereen12) WR Leonard Hankerson13) WR Titus Young14) QB Blaine Gabbert15) RB DeMarco Murray16) WR Niles Paul17) WR Austin Pettis18) TE Kyle Rudolph19) RB Taiwan Jones20) QB Christian Ponder21) RB Stevan Ridley22) WR Jerrell Jernigan23) WR Ronald Johnson24) WR Tandon Doss25) WR Randall Cobb26) TE Luke Stocker27) TE DJ Williams28) WR Greg Little29) QB Jake Locker30) QB Pat Devlin31) WR Vincent Brown32) WR Terrance Toliver33) WR Dwayne Harris34) WR Cecil Shorts35) WR Edmond Gates36) WR Armon Binns37) RB Da'Rel Scott38) RB Darren Evans39) RB Delone Carter40) RB JacQuizz Rodgers
Niles Paul at 16? and Delone Carter at 39? Were they mixed up and put in the wrong spots?

Your ranking of Shane Vereen seems high compared to other rankings I've seen... can you tell me what you like about his game as it translates to the NFL?

These were before the RSP, though Darren Evans shouldn't be ahead of anyone.

Both me and deadstick have Little as the 14th WR, that is where he belongs and like every WR he does have potential to be a good NFL player. But its pretty clear he is not a top 10 WR and should be nowhere near the top 3.
you have some explaining to do sir.

I made some of those statements just trying to prove my point that he was not a top 3 WR. I currently have him as my 9th reciever (Behind Green, Jones, Cobb, Hankerson, Smith, Baldwin, Young, and Jerrnigan) I am higher on him now after watching some more film, but he is not better than any of the wide outs I mentioned above.
