Great idea for a thread. It will be really interesting to see how the drafts change between now, and after the NFL draft. We'll see who the Dwyers are haha.

I'm REALLY interested in where guys like Taiwan Jones and Greg Little go in the 2nd/3rd rounds right now, pre-NFL draft. Even more interested in where they'll be going in most leagues after the NFL draft. These are two guys that I'm targeting, and I have no idea when to expect them to come off the board.

I guess it depends on team need but I see Greg Little going in the early second of rookie drafts and Taiwan Jones in the late second of rookie drafts.

That's about where I've been thinking, although I've been hoping that Jones would fall all the way to the early third. I've been trying to make little trades here and there to position myself in the early-mid 2nd for guys like this.

What people think now doesn't really mean much. After the NFL draft is when we will know where rookies will go in rookie drafts.

I agree with you if I could get Cobb in the 2nd I would be thrilled. He is the next Percy Harvin. However I think Daniel Thomas isn't one of the 12 best backs in this draft. Worth a late 2nd early 3rd IMO.

Talent, I honestly think by the time my draft comes around (early may) he'll be going in the late first.

I have a feeling that when it's all done and said, Ryan Williams ends up as the consensus #1 after the Dolphins make him the first RB taken.

RSP already getting it's footing. That Waldman's a market mover.

About 4 of those RB's taken in the 2nd should have gone ahead of a few from the 1st (Powell and Carter, and possibly Hunter). Also surprised that so few WR's went in the 1st since this is a PPR league.

Well, to a certain extent it's kind of a crapshoot drafting before the NFL draft anyway. "Should have" now might not be the same later.

I really think one (if not both) of Quizz/Dion Lewis are going to make people look foolish for letting them fall to the end of Round 2. I think their ability to make guys miss at the next level are going to be a huge assets for them. I'm frankly shunned to see Dion Lewis being pegged at a late (5th-7th) round RB (as I saw at Rotoworld.com).

DeMarco Murray is so blah. Makes me throw up in the same way seeing Tate & Hardesty go mid 1st (ahead of Sam Bradford) in most drafts last year. Murray won't make anyone miss at the next level and can't move laterally.

My take on the top 12 (PPR):

1. AJ Green

2. Julio Jones

3. Ryan Williams

4. Mark Ingram

5. Mikel Leshoure

6. Jon Baldwin

7. Daniel Thomas

8. Cam Newton

9. Greg Little

10. Leonard Hankerson

11. Kyle Rudolph

12. Blaine Gabbert

I tend to lean toward three down type backs vs. timeshare types and potential #1/#2 receivers as opposed to slot types/one dimensional speedsters.

Sorry dude, but this just struck me very funny. Who DOESN'T lean toward those things? :lmao:
