Very difficult draft. Started well for me but the Romo pick threw me off track.

QB - QBs went about where I thought they would. At the time Romo at 4.02 felt good. Dodds getting Kolb in the last two rounds pretty much flushed any value here down the tubes. Between Romo and Bradford I'll have two playing each week. This freed up roster space elsewhere.

RB - Rice is a gift here. May have jumped on Sproles too early but my calculations adjusting for byes had him ranked as the 5th player overall. Wanted to handcuff him with Ingram but he went just before I pulled the trigger. Did manage to backup Rice. Rice and Sproles are clean of bye issues. Moreno wasn't a bad pick in the late 9th. Add some junk like Murray and Jones in case of emergency.

WR - Only start two and with best ball format I've always been OK waiting on WR. Wayne should be bouncing back with Painter and he plays all 5 weeks. Holmes slid pretty late. Was able to get Burress very late to lock up the combo. Moore/Meahem combo has worked for me in the past. I get 5 weeks of both and one should score most weeks. Banking on Ocho getting more involved. hester/Sanders as flyers.

TE - Came into the draft wanting to load up but knew that wouldn't be possible with Dodds around. Daniels was a great value at 3.11 and didn't have a bye. Really wanted to get Dressen but I forgot about him when I was going to pick him and he got gone. Shockey has been getting alot of targets in the endzone. Maybe Lewis will bounce back???

D - Pitt and Dallas. Neither have a week 6-10 bye so I felt good going with 2

K - Brown and Dawson have favorable schedules and will play all 5 weeks. Hopefully with Crosby I'll post some points here unlike in leg one.

Haven't looked at the other rosters yet, but I'm just not quite feeling it with this team. Missed out on alot of guys I wanted by a few picks. In this format I really wanted to have 3 starting RBs, but blew that with the Romo pick.

15 of my 24 players will play each week, only 9 have a bye. That should be better than average and will hopefully help out in the double flex format.

With dual flex and 1.5 PPR, my strategy was to grab stud TEs that could hit for big games. I purposely played this for one good RB (Gore) and a lot of crap at that position so that I could be strong everywhere else (namely at TE). I then proceeded to throw a lot of darts at RB on guys that were scheduled to miss a game, etc. I used Earnest Graham (a start this week) as a huge part of this strategy,

Overall I think if Gore stays healthy, this team could be tough to beat as I have the WRs and TEs to score huge points. And as bad as my RBs look on paper, I bet they actually score OK in this PPR best-ball format. Guys like Cadillac William and Dexter McCluster are going to catch 3-4 balls every week.

I think you got some of the best value of the draft if not best, but I'm not sure how this comes together. For instance wk 7 you only run one K and D with Nicks/Davis/Gore/Jacobs off. Unless your other guys go off, you could bleed some wins this week. 2/3's of your roster will lose 20% of the season. That said, your stud TE strategy rolled through leg one.

I was wondering what kind of disease Gore and Kolb were carrying. You'll probably outscore me at QB and invested a lot less capital. Really like the Nate/Titus combo.

My strategy coming into the draft, probably like everyone else's, was to load up on players with byes in weeks 5 and 11. For the most part, I think I did that very well without sacrificing better players.

QB- Big Ben in the mid 6th, was just fine with me. Week 11 bye is solid. I'm a big believer that Pittsburgh will turn it around. Big Ben was my target. Cassel without Charles, is a solid late backup. If he can reproduce that week 5 result 1 or 2 times during this leg, I'll be giddy. I'm also okay with Sanchez as a QB3. Maybe I use him, maybe I don't. But one of these guys should put up good enough numbers to not be a problem.

HB- Took Forte with the 1.06. He leads HB's in points with this scoring system, and that was with the Bears passing for the first 3 weeks. Forte, even with his bye, should be gold for me. I had Mendenhall ticketed in the 3rd round from jumpstreet. Pittsburgh schedule is easy and like I said the Steelers and Mendenhall are much better than they have shown. Torain could be a huge every week starter for me, if he gets the bulk of the carries moving forward. And Benson as a HB4, is great. I don't think he'll be suspended and he still carries the ball about 20 times.

WR- Dez and Colston are every week starter and byeless. Vincent Jackson should be 100% after his week 6 bye. Ward and Bess are also byeless. The addition of Matt Moore at QB, should make Bess a solid WR4 in this PPR. Harvin has potential, but we'll see if he can be more involved. And took a shot on Donnie Avery in the 23rd. Why not I guess.

TE- I seemed to always be 2 or 3 picks away from taking a TE. Everytime I was going to draft one, he was taken 2 or 3 picks before me and then followed up with another TE being drafted. Then the value at that spot plummeted and I went another direction. After the elite and good TE's went off the board in the first 6 rounds, I decided to target Gates and cross my fingers he returns in week 7. If he does, I get the steal of the draft. If not, then oh well. I combo'd Shiancoe and Rudolph so if a TE in Minnesota scores (they don't have any WR's to speak of), I'll get the TD. I'm deep and strong elsewhere, so I think I'll be fine even if Gates doesn't return until week 8 or 9.

K- Suisham is byeless. And again, I expect Pitt to turn it around. And Matt Bryant as a PK2 is fine.

D- I didn't care about bye weeks when it came to the D. I was wanting Baltimore D and was willing to take them in the 12th round (which I thought was early) but they were snatched in the 10th. So I took 4 D's that are capable of lighting it up. Since D's are so unpredictable, I took 4 of them. Figured it was better than taking some 10th WR that will be lucky to catch 1 or 2 balls each week.

Overall, I like my team. I need Pittsburgh to come around and it would be a big boon if Torain was the lead back in Washington moving forward. I have depth at HB and WR and I won't have any bye week issues. I don't know if I'll be moving on, but I expect to be very competitive.

I will say that everyone has caught onto the 1.5 ppr TE twist. Used to be able to load up here in the 4th thru 8th rounds. Now the position gets picked clean quickly.

I went into the draft with a focus on drafting guys that would have a higher PPG and focus less on bye weeks. Given that every week there would be teams off, I decided that I'd rather try to manage bye week risk rather than reach for a guy who had a bye in week 5 or 11. In some cases, it worked well. In others, I created a bit of a mess.

QB

In the early rounds, whenever it came time for me to pick, it didn't seem like there was solid value at QB. I wanted to come out of the first six picks with 2 RB, 2 WR and 2 TE, given the PPR with TE Bonus. Schaub is a pretty 'average' QB when it comes to PPG in this format, so landing him in the 9th was expected. The fact that he's not going to be off was a bonus, but I didn't set out to draft that way. I actually considered Brees at #4 overall but felt that there was too much value at WR to reach that far that early. Campbell was an interesting add - maybe he gets hot a week or two and outperforms Schaub. I was happy landing him in 16

RB

Without a doubt, my weakest position. I never really liked the RBS that came up when my picks were there, and thought that the value at WR was much better in the early rounds. Thomas at 4 was nice because he'll play every week but the rest of the guys are a crap shoot. Hardesty was a nice late add and my hope is that between him and Thomas, they can carry my team each week until the other guys are healthy or playing a weaker team. I am a bit worried about RB.

WR

Very happy with my guys here. Welker is crazy PPG upside, even with the week 7 bye and Jennings is going to score well each week thanks to Rodgers. Moss as my #3 gave me a guy who is never off and Washington and DHB look like solid WR with some upside. Parker and Jennings were value picks. Their value in PPR is higher than in a straight league, and although they don't reach the end zone much, the extra point or two each week from volume catches should provide a solid base given the fact that each week we'll have teams that are not playing.

TE

I knew that TE would go early, but didn't expect it to be that quick. I figured I'd land Graham or Witten at 2.04 but that didn't happen. I wanted at least 1 solid TE and Gonzo was my choice given the mini run in the first two rounds. Gresham has been performing well and should be above average in TE Bonus league. Jeff King seems to alternate with Heap, but with Kolb checking down as much as he does, King has some potential to rack up 5-6 catches a game. In the 19th round, I felt pretty good about his value.

PK

I broke the trend and took the first PK off the board. A reach to be sure but with Baily's PPG and the fact that he'll play every week, he was a solid pick in round 13 over a backup player at another position. Longwell will do OK as well, playing in a dome for a team that is struggling on offense. Again, where I landed him made me feel good about the pick.

DEF

SF defense is under rated, so I was happy to land them. Unfortunately it also created ANOTHER position to be weak in week 7, so I added two defenses that were mot great picks, but at least they were not off at the same time.

Overall I'm pretty happy with my team, and if I can avoid going 0-11 in week 7, I think I should be OK. My worst pick, given his position was taking The Law Firm where I did. He's dinged up and could lose carries over the next several weeks. Not to mention, I didn't need another week 7 bye. I regretted the pick almsost immediately but figured I'd adjust my draft accordingly and move on..

:tfp:

Didn't read rules (flip 3/4th rd threw me for a loop)

Shouldn't have picked 3rd slot with Rice and Foster being the two studs without bye-weeks in this.

Got logged on late due to a Dr. appt for my son running late.

All around disaster. Wouldn't be shocked if I flipped my round 1 record and went 10-46.

Nice drafting guys... Thanks to Duckboy for filling in at the last minute.
He deserved to get in.....he lost out by less then 2 points on a last second Matt Forte reception with less then a minute left on the week 5 MNF game. I felt bad beating him like that, as I have tasted that kind of defeat far to often in the past.GL Duckboy, hope to see you in the finals.Nice draft and very educational as I prepare for tonight.

Congrats to GIMenace, LD, and Gawian...good luck next round and have fun drafting.

The Romo pick early and Owen Daniels coming up small this leg did me in.

Only one that made Arian Foster the #1 pick in the 4 leagues. Helped to make up for my awful Andre Johnson pick. Guess Dodds was right about having him way down his list.

Hoping to hold off Limp Ditka for the #1 spot in the league.

Solid pick. I wasn't disappointed with Rice. In hindsight I could have gone a couple of different directions, but my biggest issue was the best ball format not playing out well for me. I think the dominator had me ranked as the best teams. I pretty much met or exceeded the projections, however that's almost exactly what they did. I got a ton of 10-15 pt performances on a consistant basis and needed more of the 5 pt / 30 pt guys.
