Did Oscar make it this far because of pt concerns? Hazard is supposedly going to play up top some, and O has said he's willing to play anywhere.
We passed on him for a couple of reasons. 1, Chelsea has 75 good midfielders already and 2, with his age and never having played outside of Brazil, he is very likely to have some time adjusting. I think he may get most of his time in Cup games. I think he is a great player though, so your risk reward could be worth it.
He could be the second coming of Pele and RDM will still have to rotate him. I'm curious to see their tactics once everybody shows up and the games start to count.
I suppose. But a lot of the big clubs have crowded attacking situations. We've already had, what, four Man City strikers drafted so far? At worst, I guess I can drop-stash him and have some financial flexibility.

He went about where I thought he'd go. I did have him after Nasri though. :coffee:

Me neither, FWIW. Nasri and Ben Arfa were at the top of my list, then Oscar, then Sinclair.

As the team that drafted Van Persie, as long as he stays in the EPL we are happy.

He will get the most time on the field if he stays at Arsenal.

If he goes to Man U or Man City he is going to get less time but he is also going to take a lot of time away from other high draft picks so it may even out.

Hopefully if he stays at Arsenal he won't sulk and play like crap.

Seems like he'd get as much PT at Juve than at Arsenal, and he'd get to avoid angry Arsenal fans. But they seem to have cooled their pursuit.

5.09 Santi Cazorla MID £TBD Malaga
 First pick that's pissed me off. I was hoping I could sneak him in in the next few rounds.
I would love to see him at Arsenal, but I don't see them forking over the cash to get it done. Even after they cash RVP in. Is he rumored to go anywhere else?
Sounds like Arsenal's almost over the finish line with him. Pretty safe bet that he ends up in the EPL.

Latest word is RVP to Man U.
I can't see them paying him the same as Rooney. Love to see it happen though.
I think they would absolutely play them together, and it would be very fun to watch.
"Paying" RvP has demanded the same weekly salary as Rooney if he goes to the
:lmao: Because money demands work so well when negotiating with Man U. No way they give him that. City it is.

How awkward it would be if he was forced to stay at Arsenal after throwing the organization under the bus.

You don't think it's possible he stays or you don't think it would be awkward?

Transfer rumors are a dime a dozen but this one at least sounds plausible given Malaga's financial troubles. I figured we're at a point in the draft where it was worth the risk. The league format sets a pretty high bar for replacement level, even with the two extra teams and the transfer speculation. If Cazorla doesn't come over, midfield is one of the deeper positions.

3 out of 10 on a scale of awkwardness. If he stays he'll be playing for his next contract. He'll play nice. I do think he goes though.

I don't see a way he stays at Arsenal. He is persona non grata there IMO

They are just trying to get the most for him which is why he will end up in Manchester. Blue or Red is the question though.

Latest was that Juve was out all together and putting their focus on other players. I guess he could always go to PSG

Other clubs might be more desperate in the January window provided that RvP isn't hurt. Being cup tied for the Champions League is probably worth a few million though.

Good movement over the weekend
What's your timeline on this? We are already 1/3 of the way there. I don't have a problem with a timer, but it really doesn't seem necessary yet.
