2012 rookie draft mock (1 Viewer)

I feel if you make a bold statement like he's a better version of Ryan Williams you would offer some reasons why.
4.3 < 4.5Does anyone know why Wilson was so pedestrian in the ACC championship and his bowl game vs. Mich? Did he get injured or just wore down?
IMO, Michigan sold out on stopping Wilson. The defense was definitely flowing to where he was going whether he had the ball or not, with what looked like a QB spy out of the LB corps on most plays.

Which one has the 4.3?
Wilson

So because he runs faster he's a better RB?I have never understood this logic at all. Some guys fall way too much in love with combine numbers instead of what they do on the field and I'm not saying Wilson or Williams is the better back.Just pointing out saying one is faster than the other means very little to me unless one of them is just brutally slow.

Where did anyone ever say Wilson was a better RB because he was faster?

It was stated by thrifty that Wilson was the better version of Williams and was then asked why and his reply was 4.3<4.5.

I think it was misquoted somehow but I was the one who said he was a better version of Ryan Williams. I think he was suggesting one of the potential reasons why I would think so.

Gotcha wiscstlatlmia

Whenever you get a chance I would love to hear your reasons behind your statement.

Yeah, I don't mean to imply Wilson is better than Williams. IMO Williams hasn't been a stud since 2009, and his NFL success was never guaranteed. Williams is thicker and probably has better moves, but Wilson has a lot of pluses over Williams - speed, burst, receiving skills. It's close.

actually 4.3 < 4.5 would imply that 4.5 is better than (or greater than as the symbol indicates) 4.3, therefore one would assume Williams is better than Wilson if Wilson is the 4.3.

I think Doug Martin has a shot to sneak into the first round in many drafts next season. At 5'9" & 213, he's a violent runner with unbelievable lateral agility. At the Boise pro day last year, he pushed 225 25 times, ran a 4.41 forty and ran a 6.51 3-cone. Excellent list by the way.....I'm still not as high on Randle as most though.
This.I'm not only on the Doug Martin bandwagon, I might even be driving the bus. I've been impressed with him about every time I saw him play. If he is drafted to a team like the Bengals, let's just say I think his stock will skyrocket in rookie drafts. If not, I'll still target him in the middle of the first round.

A few months later, yes I would have Martin in the top 10. I will make a new mock in the next few days, that will be 2 or 3 rounds.

Never got to it, but I'l try and get something up soon. What happened to your mock?
Would love to see it, and the subsequent discussion since I have 1.05 and 1.07 and I'm agonizing over Wilson/Miller/Martin (will take Floyd with the 1.05 unless one of Luck/RGIII/Trich/Blackmon fall to me). I believe two of these three will be there at 1.07 and I want to have a solid view of their value. After the NFL draft might be the best time to re-initiate it though, since we're getting close to it now.
