Last year was 5x5 w/ OBP. 16 teams, 28 man rosters, daily transactions. I recall the IP limits being on the low side.

Unless there are major objections, we'll go with last year's settings. 5x5 roto daily league with OBP in lieu of AVG. Active roster of 23 + 5 bench + 2 DL. Draft will be 28 rounds (448 blissful picks). 1300 max IP with no restriction on type of pitcher (9 generic P slots).

P propose we consider adding slugging to the Offensive side. Not having that makes doubles and triples worthless, when in reality, they are quite valuable. At least as valuable as a steal.And I would have no trouble going 6x5, sine i think that would make pitching value more in line with reality. If we wanted 6x6, I think QS is a worthy category THis is not a demand, and I do want to make a trainwreck, but I do think it would more accurately show the value of a team relative to MLB

Not really a fan of unbalanced (e.g., 6x5) categories. I used to be in a 7x5 and it was just goofy.Discuss..

Interesting. My first reaction to no HRs was "Oh no," but since they will significantly bolster the SLG, I am waffling. Not sold as the HR is the cadillac of all offensive stats. Since pitchers should really not be going until R4-5, it would make since for the format to be 6x5, showing a bias that reflects the way we draft/evaluate.Personally I think Ws are the most worthless stat and would prefer QSs.

yeah, I dont think Holds is the answer. If you just took out wins all the other P categories would rise to represent a more accurate portrayal.

We're having some issues transferring commish duties to me since I didn't have my email address visible when the league archived.I don't know if it's possible to transfer it to me after the league reforms, but then ex-commish Jethro isn't going to play this year, so maybe that's not a solution.

Middle relievers are already more valuable in a 16 team league with relatively low IP limits than in the standard fantasy format.
