2013 FBG PDSL 1 Comments Thread (1 Viewer)

Just looking at places I almost went elsewhere and how that would have changed my draft

2.01 Gronk --> D. Thomas ...Colston would have become Gonzo (slightly prefer the Thomas / Gonzo combo due to injury)

4.01 Sproles --> Kaepernick ...would have swapped Geno for E Sanders (prefer what I have)

6.01 Alexander --> Big Ben ...would have swapped Geno for E Sanders (prefer what I have)

14.01 Moeaki --> Vikings D ...would have swapped Redskins for Tamme (prefer what I have)

17.16 Kerley --> Casey, no additional change

no real regrets.

I personally am not big on your team, Kard

I dont like your QB's. Freeman is an iffy QB and it would not surprise me to see TB draft someone. The Palmer trade talk has me scared of him. But he does have nice weapons to work with. Dont like Locker that much either. Does Kolb keep job for year

YOur RB you have right. Some big risk but when you take one in 1st and 2nd, you should have a good combo. The rest is iffy with only Tate but that is hoping for injury. One injjury and you will be done early yourself.

WRL I dont like Welker as #3 WR in Denver and feel way overdrafted. Smith is good as #2. Austin not a big fan of because he will be injured again. Better hope Jeffrey does something because this unit is why you are done early

TE> there is only one NE and it wont be replicated. Kendricks is a backup TE at this point and basically useless. Better hope Gonzo plays the year again. Bye week issue for sure

PK; Both PK are on shaky ground. Would not surprise me to see Havard win that job or them to draft a Hopkins to have a Pk for the next 15 years again. Talk of STurgis to Miami to replace Carpenter

D: Is good

Not a big fan of this team at all.

Fubar

RB: It looks nice with the Philly game wrapped up. Leshoure should give you some weeks for sure

WR: Lots of risk. I love Colston but not as big on Gordon as most as still Cleveland. Alexander and him are both big hits or misses. Better hope Quick and Sanu come on this year to provide for the weeks you 2 high risk guys miss. I do like both to improve this year but will it be enough

TE. Moeaki sucks and wont be much with Fasano also now there. Plus Smith is average fantasy QB. Gronk is the key and the injury could hurt you

PK: Nice job even though any worries about Kaeding going to TB.

D: Looks good

But the QB is the big one. Bradford better play well because I dont think you can rely on Smith early at least. I assume he goes to Buffalo in the end. His small hands will lead to lots of turnovers. Or he goes to Jags which kills Henne pick. I guess you hope for Philly maybe or Oakland. This could be the position that stops you from going all the way. Not a bad team but the QB kills it for me to think you win.

4.12 Luck, Andrew IND QB

7.05 Dalton, Andy CIN QB

Reached for Luck, as mentioned earlier I would have been happier with going a different direction in round 4 and taking a QB combo during the QB2 run. While the duo is certainly satisfactory, I don't think I will get enough ROI on these guys.

1.05 Rice, Ray BAL RB

8.12 Bernard, Giovani FA RB

10.12 Harris, DuJuan GBP RB

18.12 Tolbert, Mike CAR RB

20.12 Jones, Felix DAL RB

Rice and a bunch of yahoos. In theory I'd have some kind of super group at another position to make up for the lack of RB2, but I don't. There is slight hope with a good landing spot for Bernard or a weak RB competition in GB. When you are happy to land Tolbert, you know your RB crop is not a strength.

3.05 Fitzgerald, Larry ARI WR

5.05 Blackmon, Justin JAC WR6.12 Wright, Kendall TEN WR

9.05 Hartline, Brian MIA WR

16.12 Hawkins, Andrew CIN WR17.05 McCluster, Dexter KCC WR19.05 Wright, Jarius MIN WR

We'll see how Fitz does with Palmer, certainly could outperform his draft spot. Went boom or bust for the other 6, would be happier with some semblance of consistency. Jury is out on Blackmon and Wright, and not a whole lot of firepower in the reserves. Will be a surprise if this group is above average.

2.12 Hernandez, Aaron NEP TE11.05 Miller, Zach SEA TE

Hernandez will need to have some monster games early to keep me alive until the bye weeks start. I'm big on Miller this year, especially with Harvin in town.14.12 Walsh, Blair MIN PK15.05 Prater, Matt DEN PK12.12 Packers, Green Bay GBP Def13.05 Giants, New York NYG DefNot a big fan, expected early exit. Of course, the teams I dislike are the ones that usually have a deep run.

Finally have a few minutes to discuss where things are for me, and my thoughts so far. 1.04 - Doug Martin, RB, TB - Thought about both Ray Rice and Calvin Johnson, but wanted a stud RB1 with no threat from a handcuff / backup (pre-draft at least) and felt I could build WRs later. 2.13 - Victor Cruz, WR, NYG - The guy gets open and scores TDs, and they just lost their TE and Bradshaw, so the targets are likely to at worst stay the same and likely go up. I see Cruz hitting 80/1300/9 this year, which is a solid WR1 here. (note - saw that NYG added Myers, but still like Cruz) 3.04 - Peyton Manning, QB, DEN - Wanted a stud QB so I could wait for my second QB to pick up WR/TE/RB values as they fell in Rounds 4-8. Manning was a great value at 3.04. Also knew I could wait at 2.13 for QB as Brees was gone, so my list of 3 QBs would not be all gone. 4.13 - Jonathan Stewart, RB, CAR - This was an interesting pick for me. Normally I wait for RB2, but I saw value in Stewart (I think DeAngelo leaves / is cut, opening the door for Stewart even further) and the WRs available at 4.13 were all about even for me, so could wait around the turn. 5.04 - Antonio Brown, WR, PIT - Love grabbing a WR on a team that lacks for a good ground game (and has issues at TE too). Brown should put up very strong numbers with Big Ben. Also considered Torrey Smith, but TEs and RBs make more grabs for Flacco. Brown will get 120+ targets easy. 6.13 - Denarius Moore, WR, OAK - Struggled a bit with the WR3 pick, but Moore will start for Oakland with DHB gone (another nice value pick that was scooped up). I like him with Matt Flynn too, and now Myers is gone, so more targets for Moore. 7.04 - Greg Olsen, TE, CAR - Always tend to lean towards TEs who are the #2 option or better for teams, and Olsen put up strong numbers last year with the second-most targets for the Panthers. I don't like Carolina's WR options after Steve Smith, so Olsen is a great option for a TE1. 8.13 - Matt Flynn, QB, OAK - Love this guy as a QB2, especially with Peyton Manning. Flynn will face SD and KC twice each and has good targets at WR, plus a solid back who can catch and run. Flynn is the clear starter for Oakland and I have him above Carson Palmer (will get pounded behind that AZ O-line). 9.04 - Brandon Lloyd, WR, FA - Who knows where he lands, but a solid value pick with big play upside. Wild card pick. Would have considered T. Austin if he fell. 10.13 - Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Rookie - another wild card pick, but the rookie is my WR5. Didn't like other options, as E. Sanders was scooped up early (good pick), so why not take a top rookie WR who is likely a first round pick? Considered Broyles for DET, but he's likely a PUP candidate and didn't want to throw away 6 weeks. 11.04 - Seattle Defense / ST - Not in love with positional options, so took the team I feel is the clear #1 choice. Between the performance of the Seahawks on defense last year, Percy Harvin now returning kicks and facing Arizona twice a year, I like them to finish far atop the defense list. Team:QB - Peyton Manning, Matt FlynnRB - Doug Martin, Jonathan StewartWR - Victor Cruz, Antonio Brown, Denarius Moore, Brandon Lloyd, Cordarrelle PattersonTE - G. OlsenK - D - Seattle
Adding my last two selections:

12.13 - Zach Ertz,TE, Rookie - A Top-2 tight end rookie is a solid pick for a TE2, as the NFL loves TEs these days and a pass catcher like him should be snapped up in the first two rounds and start immediately.

13.04 - Isaiah Pead, RB, STL - My third RB is a guy who should get goal line looks and has a shot to start. People forget he was a 2nd round pick last year and with S-Jax gone, the door is wide open for him.

Team:QB - Peyton Manning, Matt FlynnRB - Doug Martin, Jonathan Stewart, I. PeadWR - Victor Cruz, Antonio Brown, Denarius Moore, Brandon Lloyd, Cordarrelle PattersonTE - G. Olsen, Z. ErtzK - D - Seattle
14.13 - Jonathan Franklin, RB, Rookie - What PDSL draft would be fun without a rookie to root for come Draft weekend? I took Franklin with all the recent hype that he could even be the top RB selected in the draft. Pittsburgh? Denver? Who knows, but it'll be fun.

15.04 - Matt Bryant, PK, ATL - Just missed Gostkowski by a pick, but a good consolation prize. Atlanta will score a lot and I love a dome kicker in these.

Team:QB - Peyton Manning, Matt FlynnRB - Doug Martin, Jonathan Stewart, I. Pead, J. FranklinWR - Victor Cruz, Antonio Brown, Denarius Moore, Brandon Lloyd, Cordarrelle PattersonTE - G. Olsen, Z. ErtzK - Matt BryantD - Seattle
Last 5 picks:

16.13 - Andre Ellington, RB, Rookie - Rookie RB with big upside. I like that more than some handcuffs or third down backs.

17.04 - Carolina Panthers D/ST - Was hoping to get Philly on the comeback, as they have slid a ton. OK with getting the Panthers as my 2nd D/ST, especially with Seattle as my D/ST1.

18.13 - Terrance Williams, WR, Rookie - Another rookie with big upside. The NFL is a passing league, and while it takes some time for rookies to contribute, a burner who stretches the field has big play opportunities, which is the "boom" you need for a late WR to give you a score that counts in these.

19.04 - Nick Novak, PK, SD - Here's where it pays to keep track of kicker movement (or not) during the offseason. Novak signed a long term deal in SD and will be the PK for the Chargers without competition. Honestly I could have waited another round perhaps and see if Gano was there (he would be) for Carolina.

20.13 - Marvin Jones, WR, CIN - Wanted a 3rd TE, but after Casey and Dickson went I was really wondering if I should have gone TE3 at 19 instead. Oh well. Jones could be the WR2 for the Bengals, and is likely no worse than the WR3. We'll have to see how much that is worth. OK pick in Rd 20.

Final Roster:

Team:QB - Peyton Manning, Matt FlynnRB - Doug Martin, Jonathan Stewart, I. Pead, J. Franklin, A. EllingtonWR - Victor Cruz, Antonio Brown, Denarius Moore, Brandon Lloyd, Cordarrelle Patterson, Terrance Williams, Marvin JonesTE - G. Olsen, Z. ErtzK - Matt Bryant, Nick NovakD - Seattle, Carolina

5 rookies!!! It must be April....

- WR does have risk, but I'm higher on Gordon than you are.

- Moeaki isn't great, but #32 last year and Smith is a big time upgrade for TEs. Fasano is there, but I think Moe has a career year.

- QB is certainly the big one. Honestly, I don't mind if Jacksonville drafts Geno. At the worst, I'll have a backup in case he struggles.

You are right though, my success greatly hinges on the QB position.

I don't mind the rest of your team - no huge strong spots, but fair overall. but holy  could your WRs have a worse group of QBs throwing them the ball?

Lots of risk, but considering Peyton was an absolute steal and you have a solid #1 at each position, I like this team. Personally, I'm not a big fan of taking this many rookies but you could afford the risk. Seriously, seeing Peyton at 3.04 is an excuse for me to lose from my draft slot.

3.02 Cam Newton

8.15 Carson Palmer

Cam seemed to struggle a bit early last year but was the #2 QB the last 6 games and I expect another strong year from him. Palmer should have some scoring weeks as long as Arizona can keep him from getting killed. They should be going OL this draft.

1.02 Adrian Peterson

6.15 Shane Vereen

7.02 Ahmad Bradshaw

14.15 Pierre Thomas

19.02 Justin Forsett

AP is almost like having 2 RBs. I expect Vereen’s number to improve with Woodhead gone and hopefully Bradshaw doesn’t amputate his foot and signs somewhere good. Thomas and Forsett should get some relief looks and give me a couple points here and there. AP makes this group not suck but I’ll need Vereen and Bradshaw to come through.

2.15 Percy Harvin

4.15 Pierre Garcon

9.02 Emmanuel Sanders

10.15 Rod Streater

11.02 Nate Burleson

18.15 Dwayne Harris

20.15 Brandon Gibson

Percy, Pierre and Emmanuel? Is this the lingerie league? After them, I needed to draft some more manlier names…Rod and Nate. Harvin upgrades from Ponder to Russell? Yes, please and hopefully Bevell/Carroll know what to do and make Percy happy. Not liking the recent comments by Garcon that he may not be 100% next year but he should be better than last year. I’m fine with Sanders in Pitt or NE. Streater will be on a lot of my teams next year (homer alert). Burleson will be WR2 in Detroit. WR3 in Dallas has value and could be gold when Austin goes down again and/or Dez gets suspended. Lol Don’t expect anything from Gibson. If everyone is healthy, I should get 3 good scores from this group.

5.02 Dennis Pitta

13.02 Jordan Cameron

Love Pitta this year. No Boldin = more Pitta. Cameron’s going to be everyone’s sleeper TE this year. Most of the time that doesn’t pan out but Chud and Norv will help him. Was planning on a 3rd TE but they all got scooped up before I pulled the trigger.

16.15 Mike Nugent

17.02 Josh Brown

Kickers are a crapshoot. But Nugent signed and should be Cincy’s kicker. The Giants kicker is usually a solid play. Am I missing something with Brown here? Tyne’s won’t be back, right?

12.15 Cincinnati

15.02 Tennessee

I like Cincy and while Tennessee sucks, they did have 5 15+ weeks last year.

I like each individual player but don’t like them as much from a collective perspective. Besides, Cam, AP and Pitta…did anyone else play a full 16 game season? Team seems a bit risky and I need a healthier 2013 than what transpired in 2012. If that happens, I could get by. But something tells me otherwise. If it looks like duck and sounds like a duck.....Looks like a mid-exit for me.

QB

Matt Schaub

Ryan Tannehill

Overall I am not happy with this pair, but I do think Tannehill could be a nice surprise with another off season of work and all his new weapons. I just hope Schaub can bounce back a stay healthy since he should put up solid numbers if he does that.

RB

Trent Richardson

Lamar Miller

David Wilson

Willis McGahee

Lance Dunbar

Michael Turner

I went heavy on RB early and love my core of TRich, Miller and Wilson. Denver has done nothing to indicate that they aren't going into the season with anyone other than Willis as their RB. Even if they would draft a RB it wouldn't be until a later round and John Fox is usually fairly reluctant to give rookie RB's too much playing time if they can't protect Peyton properly. Dunbar is more of a flyer but he is directly behind an often injured RB. I hope Turner ends up somewhere to be 8-10 TD guy.

WR

DeMayius Thomas

Greg Jennings

Vincent Brown

Reuben Randle

Tavon Austin

Marquise Goodwin

Overall I think this is a solid group, but I need 2-3 guys to play beyond their draft position if I am going to compete. If Jennings and Brown bounce back from injuries then I feel even better with this group. I think Tavon Austin can produce right away and my be the top rookie WR for this season. Goodwin was just a flyer since the WR pool was fairly dry by that time.

TE

Vernon Davis

Scott Chandler

I like Davis more with Kaepernick then with Smith and I think Vernon feels the same way. I hope those two can get on the same page early and often. Chandler has been a TD machine the last couple years and I don't see him being a red zone threat changing anytime soon when he is 6'7".

K

Bironas

Tynes

I got 2 that should have fairly secure holds on their jobs

DEF

Broncos

Raiders

Denver should be a top D again and be playing with the lead a lot so that should lead to sacks and hopefully more turnovers. Ended up with the Raiders D since when I looked at taking a 2nd D it was just them and the Jags. Not expecting much out of the Raiders, just hope these two have different bye weeks like they did in 2012.

Overall, I don't think this is the strongest team I drafted in these leagues, but I also think it is a solid team and with the right breaks it could make a deep run at a PDSL title.

Zonas GM was on Rome yesterday gushing about Carson. You may have caught lightning in a bottle here.

:Peace

3.02 Cam Newton

8.15 Carson Palmer

Cam seemed to struggle a bit early last year but was the #2 QB the last 6 games and I expect another strong year from him. Palmer should have some scoring weeks as long as Arizona can keep him from getting killed. They should be going OL this draft.

Bro - what is the logic behind having 6 RBs and 6 WRs? Granted, your RBs are either unproven or old, but was there a reason to have 3x the number of RBs that will count and only 2x the WRs? Especially as you said, you went heavy at RB early; usually I would only get this many RBs if I loaded up at the other positions first. You have a large amount of risk at WR - Thomas is a stud with little risk, but Jennings switched teams with a massive downgrade at QB, while your other 4 are unproven. Just think a flier at WR would have been better than Turner and probably Dunbar.

1.11 Aaron Rodgers QB2 GB
7.11 Michael Vick QB19 PHI

I should be pretty solid here.

2.06 Steven Jackson RB12 ATL
3.11 Stevan Ridley RB17 NE

12.06 Bilal Powell RB NYJ

13.11 Michael Bush RB CHI

20.06 Shaun Draughn RB KC

Since the halfway point I added Powell in the 12th, Bush in the 13th, and Draughn in the final round. I have always been a Goodson fan so not real sure why I took Powell other then I think he has a little game and he really helped my championship team down the stretch in MBSL2 last year. He will give Goodson all he can handle in the competition for carries and hopefully they don’t bring in any other competition. I think Bush is the perfect kind of backup RB/depth in these leagues. He is a talented back who has proven he can carry the load if the guy in front of him goes down, and even if he doesn’t, he steals the goal line love, which can allow him to score big points for you even when he only gets 2-3 carries. Forte has been known to get dinged. As a KC fan I watched every snap they played last year and I really liked the way Draughn ran the ball when given the chance. Runs quick and hard. I think he did enough to solidify the RB2 spot in KC which I think can be valuable because I don’t see Charles getting all the carries, and I think McCluster will mostly be productive as a WR. It is just my opinion that Charles is better when he spelled on occasion. He is pretty frail, just sayin. One of those guys where almost every time he gets a carry, you kind of hope he gets back up. I am avoiding Charles in most drafts this year Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying he is injury prone, I just think the repeated pounding RB’s take, take a little more of a toll on him then other RB’s. I would not be surprised to see Draughn take on a bigger role and he can catch. It came down to Draughn or a WR with that last pick and I just felt I needed more depth at RB instead of just 4 guys in case I run into a bye week conflict or an injury. I could be ok here with the two top guys and the depth I added.

4.06 Danny Amendola WR20 NE
5.11 James Jones WR30 GB
6.06 Steve Smith WR36 CAR
10.06 Jacoby Jones WR58 BAL

17.11 Donnie Avery WR KC

19.11 Jerome Simpson WR MIN

Since the halfway point I added Avery and Simpson late. I tossed around Nate Washington for pretty much the last several rounds of this thing, but decided to go with two guys who were recently signed, which made me feel that at least their teams felt they would contribute. I expect Washington to be released and not sure where he will end up. As a KC fan I liked the Avery signing. Not expecting a ton, but some solid production there. Was about as excited as a guy could be about getting Jerome Simpson. His team resigned him, they want him back, and think he can be way more productive than last year. I’m buyin. Currently a WR2 on his team that lost their main guy. MIN will give him the chance to be the WR2 and even though there aren’t a ton of points to be had in the MIN passing game, I felt getting a WR2 in round 19 was pretty solid. This will be the weak link of my team because of going 3 TE’s and I need the bye weeks to be kind to me.

8.06 Antonio Gates TE18 SD
9.11 Dwayne Allen TE22 IND

14.06 Delanie Walker TE TEN

Since the halfway point I added Walker. At the time of the pick, I felt he was the last of what I saw as semi quality at the TE position and I felt that he offered the best chance of contributing to this team at the time of the pick. I’m not so in love with Gates and Allen to think they are going to keep my head above water at TE, so Walker seemed like a solid pick in the 14th since we get 2 PPR. TEN apparently loves them some Delanie, and he is expected to be their primary pass catching TE. I think they think he can be a playmaker. They are paying him to be. There was a little keep away involved in that pick as well as I think he was on the radar of a few other owners as their TE2 or TE3. Potential for some pretty nice ham and egg production here that should keep me in the mix at TE.

15.11 Dan Bailey PK DAL

1606 Robbie Gould PK CHI

11.11 San Francisco 49ers DST2

18.06 Jacksonville Jaguars DST32

All of these were added after the halfway point and I feel pretty good about them overall. Busted my nut early on SF as I was in a hurry at that pick, so just rolled with a top DST. Hope it pays off. Almost got stuck with one DST but rolling the dice and waiting paid off. Still almost didn’t take JAC and was thinking about going with one, but thought they might probably score for me more than whatever else I would have taken at the time and I thought the WR’s I wanted would make it back.

Overall: Not my strongest effort and I never really felt comfortable after taking two RB’s in the first 3 picks which isn’t something I normally do. However, if my WR (which really aren’t THAT bad) can hold their own, I think I have some solid advantages elsewhere and this team might be built well enough to survive for a while. Love my QB’s, like what I did at RB, banking on Amendola, Jacoby Jones, and Simpson having prominent roles, and hoping my Delanie Walker pick pays some dividends if I need it.

:banned:
Since you do so many commentaries, I thought I'd give you some feedback as well.

QB - Rodgers and Vick is a solid pairing with good boom potential. If Vick's bigger games come when needed, this is a great pair.

RB - I see a good RB1 with S-Jax (assuming he stays healthy) with lots of TDs here for RB2 / committee to come afterward in Ridley and Bush especially. Have to wait and see on Powell.

WR -

4.06 Danny Amendola WR20 NE

5.11 James Jones WR30 GB

6.06 Steve Smith WR36 CAR

10.06 Jacoby Jones WR58 BAL

17.11 Donnie Avery WR KC

19.11 Jerome Simpson WR MIN

I would be concerned with this group. You're counting on Amendola to be a strong WR1, with James Jones finding the end zone a good amount for WR2. The depth is not bad here, but I would have liked to see another strong WR3/4 candidate here at least to round out this group.

TE - 8.06 Antonio Gates TE18 SD

9.11 Dwayne Allen TE22 IND

14.06 Delanie Walker TE TEN

Good trio, but Walker might be overkill. Grabbing another WR instead of Walker (or Allen if you planned on Walker all along) would boost WR strength. Maybe even get the TE2 in SD to back up Gates instead of Simpson in Rd 19 and replace Walker with a better WR4/5.

15.11 Dan Bailey PK DAL

1606 Robbie Gould PK CHI

11.11 San Francisco 49ers DST2

18.06 Jacksonville Jaguars DST32

Solid K/D, but Jax is likely a bad D2. Might have grabbed one a little sooner.

WRs are your weakness - if they hold up, could be a good team - but I don't like this group to hold up.

Week 8 byes a disaster for the running backs with all but the rookies out on bye the same week and it is pretty late, but at least six teams are on bye, so maybe I'll get lucky and have the rookies playing.

As far as I can tell no major bye week issues. I got lucky this year.

Updates with byes:

QB - Peyton Manning (9), Matt Flynn (7)Denver vs. Indy Week 7, OAK vs. Eagles Week 9.

Favorable matchups for both. I like it.

RB - Doug Martin (5), Jonathan Stewart (4), I. Pead (11), J. Franklin (TBD), A. Ellington (TBD)Looks good so far - like 2 early byes here. Hopefully the 2 rookies and/or Pead help me out those 2 weeks early.

WR - Victor Cruz (9), Antonio Brown (5), Denarius Moore (7), Brandon Lloyd (TBD), Cordarrelle Patterson (TBD), Terrance Williams (TBD), Marvin Jones (12)All things considered, I like the Top 3 guys not sharing a bye. Hoping the other 4 help me out.

TE - G. Olsen (4), Z. ErtzA little iffy to expect much from Ertz that early, but even if nothing, Week 4 is OK not to have a TE I think

K - Matt Bryant (6), Nick Novak (8)

Good

D - Seattle (12), Carolina (4)

Good - Panthers vs. MIA in Week 12, Seattle vs. HOU in Week 4

Should be OK

That's rough. Especially after spending 3 picks on the TE position what are the odds of all 3 having the same bye week.

You can overcome one week of bye issues but too many landmines here. Week 4, 6, 8, 9, 10 could all be trouble.

Look on the bright side...you won't have to complain about Plaxico Burress beating you next year. ;)

with James Jones knew 4 would be an issue with QB...just bad luck my WR3 hits there too...but thats "all" that week 6 has only 1 player besides TE 8 isn't a huge issue "only" no DST in 9 10 might be a an issue with 2 RB but rest is ok with all hands on deck winning immunity week 3 and 7 would help....

Fubar RB: It looks nice with the Philly game wrapped up. Leshoure should give you some weeks for sureWR: Lots of risk. I love Colston but not as big on Gordon as most as still Cleveland. Alexander and him are both big hits or misses. Better hope Quick and Sanu come on this year to provide for the weeks you 2 high risk guys miss. I do like both to improve this year but will it be enoughTE. Moeaki sucks and wont be much with Fasano also now there. Plus Smith is average fantasy QB. Gronk is the key and the injury could hurt youPK: Nice job even though any worries about Kaeding going to TB.D: Looks good But the QB is the big one.
- WR does have risk, but I'm higher on Gordon than you are. - Moeaki isn't great, but #32 last year and Smith is a big time upgrade for TEs. Fasano is there, but I think Moe has a career year.- QB is certainly the big one. Honestly, I don't mind if Jacksonville drafts Geno. At the worst, I'll have a backup in case he struggles. You are right though, my success greatly hinges on the QB position.
Well, at least Geno has a fair chance to start.

Still glad I went RB/RB as I'm much happier with Austin as my #3 WR than I would have been with what was available in the 3rd or 4th round as a #2 RB. We'll see if that plays out though.

QB I was hoping to do a bit better there, but the QB run continued too deep for anyone I was hoping that would fall to me in the 8th. I may have been able to wait on Locker, but I wanted to make sure I had two NFL starters (they are still both NFL starters, right?) :)
Not any more... 1 down, 1 to go.... My team is collectively terrible though, so I'll likely be gone before the Titans bye week in any case.

And now both are gone + Kevin Kolb who I drafted for "security"... immunity this week at just the right time (thanks Gonzo)! Get well soon Jake!

While you struggle my team is hotter than a fire cracker since week 7. Not sure what turned around but 4 2nd place finishes and a top score and a 4th in this period. Why the bad start and how it killed what might be the best team right now. Top scoring in the last 6 weeks also.
