@MoveTheSticks: In my opinion, Foles had a slightly better practice than Vick. Both guys connected on deep balls. However, both guys hold the ball too long

Agree. Brown frustrated me quite a bit last year even during his first two big games with his tendency to bounce everything outside. He got to the corner last year because people weren't expecting him to have the kind of speed he does, but that won't surprise anyone this year.
Unless he takes some strides on reading blocks and shows the willingness to run inside I wouldn't be surprised at all if he lost carries to Polk.
Polk looks like a completely different player to last preseason, when I thought he looked very slow to the holes. He's dropped 15 lbs and seems to be consistently breaking 10-20 yd runs in practice. Looking forward to seeing him in the 1st preseason game and comparing.

True. Kelly seems to run the ball a lot (70%) in college. I don't expect something that drastic but the more we heard about him the more I expected (MHO) "small ball". I expect to see Celek, Casey and Ertz a lot along with McCoy, Brown, Polk, Jones etc. I never expected much from Benn. As crazy as it may sound I'm ok with D-Jax, Cooper and Sheppard right now.Someone's gotta play WR. Not hanging my head as I'm not expecting much anyway, but we're now seriously thin at WR. Dude we haven't even had 1 preseason game. Shepard has had a good camp, and looks like a lock to make the team with all the injuries. He could start, so could Cooper. So could Johnson. So could Brandon Lloyd if we dip into the FA pool.

It's a lock that someone will. If you look at our team right now our strengths have to be OL, TE & RB. It would be wise to use them and limit the time the D spends on the field.Ha! Honestly, like someone said above--we haven't even had a preseason game yet. I don't know that any Eagle fan right now expects anything from him.

I would not be surprised if our WR1 and WR2 in 2014 are not currently Eagles.

Kelly was up 30 at halftime a lot. I don't know how that effected his percentages, but that did play into him running so much. From what I understand of Chip Kelly he will gameplan for each team week-by-week. He's not going to run all game if a team is as good as say Tampa vs the run last season. IMO they should start DeSean and Cooper, two very different wr's and then roll with the extra TE sets and slot in Avant/Johnson in different packages and plays. Still holding out hope that Foles outplays Vick during pre-season and wins the job, but it sounds like Vick is ahead right now. DeSean having a great camp isn't a huge surprise, he always seems to make great plays in practice/camp, especially now with Kelly's no-tackle rule.
Also hope that Bryce Brown gets at least 5 carries per game if he can get a handle on his fumbling issues, the guy is a beast.

NO Cooper is clear number 2 receiver especially for his Blocking.
Johnson, Damaris is the only player that offers a surprise on our team. He has been great in camp and very crisp route runner. there are a lot more short option routes in this offense than there was with Reid. Desean and Johnson will excel barring injury.

I still think that Barkley has a chance to win this Job. Foles and Vick have bigger arms but Barkley Clearly gets the ball out quicker. Pre snap recognition will be the x factor for these 3 guys. Chip's offense has a lot of option calls based on the defenses alignment.

At this point its going to take an injury or just flat out bad play, from Vick or Foles for Barkley to win the job out of camp. He's just not getting the reps.

According to Roob, Lloyd is a guy that no teammates like at all, going back to his college days. Plus, as he and Didinger pointed out on Saturday, what's the point to get a band-aid like that with this team this year? Might as well see if Coop, Johnson, Shepard and even Momah can contribute going forward.

Not according to the beat writers and Sal Pal. He basically said (either on Mike Miss last night or Mike and Mike this morning) "I'm close to reporting that the starting job is going to Vick" and added that "Barkley has been out of the running for some time now and isn't getting any meaningful snaps".

Yeah... he got 9 total snaps against NE yesterday in practice.
I would start Vick this week too and it's not why people think. I'd rather him take his 5-6 plays and go and see Foles for an extended amount of time.

I still don't understand why Vick is on this team. I would rather lose trying to find a QB instead of losing with the same old story who isn't going to be around next season anyway. Why are we wasting our time?

Agreed. I really do not get why we are even bothering with him. We arent in playoff contention, he is gone after this year and we have two young QB's that need as many reps as possible. Its a complete waste of time and effort.
