2014 Cakeleeg Draft - Pay up, SoCalBroncoFan (1 Viewer)

I'm all ready to pick. C'mon guys pick it up! I've made an extensive list of one player so please don't nobody take him.

I've several meetings this afternoon.

Text me when I am up and the picks taken since Montero at 15.02 and I should be able to respond without much of a delay

I'm now officially back in normal society sitting at a desk in front of a computer. I should be able to make my picks fairly quickly from here on out. Thanks for everyone's patience this past weekend and for helping me out with the texts.

I've seen Machado ranked as high as 8 or 9 and as low as 24th among 3B. Obviously injuries scare people.

one guy had this to say about him:

Manny Machado - Orioles - That Machado's season-ending knee injury looked so horrific seems to be taking a toll on his draft value so far this year. I can't blame anyone for waiting on encouraging updates before drafting him, but everything is going as well as could be hoped, and while Machado keeps saying he's not looking ahead to Opening Day, he is on pace to be ready. Assuming he's healthy, some of Machado's league-leading 51 doubles from a year ago are going to turn into homers this year. He's still just 21 years old, but he's so far ahead of schedule on his way to becoming a superstar. I think a .290-20 HR season is likely, and with Chris Davis and Adam Jones hitting behind him, 100 runs scored should be within reach.

Lack of walks was the bigger deal for me.
