2014 Cakeleeg Draft - Pay up, SoCalBroncoFan (1 Viewer)

F'n draft killer.....

8.06 The Ref - Chris Tillman, SP, BAL
18.07 FDAS - Jesse Crain, RP, HOU
18.08 SoCalBroncoFan - Marlon Byrd, OF, PHI
18.09 Buckfast - Mitch Moreland, 1B, TEX
18.10 Premier - Derek Jeter, SS, NYY
18.11 cosjobs - OTC
18.12 Rudnicki -
18.13 Bender -
18.14 Mr. Pickles -

19.08 - Dan Uggla - 2B (Atl)

I'm hoping that Uggla's offseason LASIK surgery can help boost his batting average above the Mendoza line. If that happens, his OBP could actually be somewhat respectable with his 14% walk rate.

You mean the Lasik he had during the season last year and batted like .100 following?

There are seven major league that have only had one starter drafted so far, and 3 that have had none drafted!

It takes some time to adjust to laser hawk vision. Look, I'm really just reaching for some positive spin here. That pick didn't feel particularly good, but I'm clinging desperately to some optimism.

Plenty of talent left.

It's still early in the draft, a lot can happen.

You can't win your draft in the 20th round and you can't lose it either.

Short list sent to pickles for next pick as I'll be unabailable for bit. Will be back around 1:15 EST.
