2014 NBA Draft Thread - A Tradition Unlike Any Other (1 Viewer)

Please don't let Napier go to the heat. Someone else pick him.
Please do. I want LeBron to be happy so he signs with the Heat so LeBron and Melo don't sign with the Rockets so the Bulls are still in the running for Melo.
if I were a Bulls fan I would not want Melo.
If you watched the Bulls offensive as much as I did last year, you would think differently.
justs eems short sighted, more wins but not the important ones.
If the Bulls can keep Gibson, Noah, and Butler they will still have a top defense. Melo and a healthy Rose (and McDermott) will help them improve from one of the worst offenses. Seems pretty obvious.

Already seen these jokes on twitter, but it is true. One of the biggest losers tonight are the Sixers ticket brokers. I have no idea how they do PR and try to sell tickets for next year. Should get Jeremy Lin and that Houston pick so people will at least come and check him out

Arajao part 2?
Had you heard rumors about their interest in him?
Not a damn thing.
Not sure how I feel about this pick - have no idea who this Bruno kid is. But my heart sank after Ennis and Harris got taken consecutively right before us. So disappointing. Gotta think that those were the two guys Ujiri had targetted as well and after that didn't pan out, he figured he'd swing for the fences.

Bulls get Randolph?
Yup... http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nba/1515/anthony-Randolph

Anthony Randolph will be sent to Chicago as a part of the Bulls and Nuggets' trade swapping Doug McDermott for a pair of mid-first round picks earlier in the evening.
Tom Thibodeau coaching up Ant-Rand smells like sitcom to us. And no, he still doesn't have any fantasy value. Jun 26 - 10:09 PM

Fills out the backup 4/5 slot nicely

Agreed, to me, Melo isn't going to ever take a team to the top. Weird that so many see him as kind of a detriment to team success when he came out of college as the rate true freshman that led his team to a title.

I always viewed Randolph as an athletic underachiever.

This may be setting up for the Spurs to get Early which I think would be a fantastic pick for them. He's ready to give them minutes immediately I think and fits in well with what they do.

I think many saw that and remember that and think he can do it again, but it's been how many years?

2nd round for 76ers will suck. Guys never heard of, half won't see the league. Joe Harris would be nice but prob goes too high.

But aren't the Bulls already in this conversation with a healthy Rose? The only thing they seem to lack is another deadly shooter. If he buys into The Butchers system and Rose is healthy, thats a team that can win.

has Melo ever bought into a system? He does his own thing, that's the problem.

Not knowing a single thing about the guy makes it hard to judge. Is he really 4 years away? If so, that screams cap savings.

It's insane to think the Bulls are better of NOT signing Melo.

I'm on board for Melo. That Scoring is all the bulls are missing. The Bulls were a #4 Seed in the east last year. You cant say adding Melo, Rose and McBuckets, wont make a major difference... They Lose Boozer, Augustin, and probably Dunleavy. Its a win across the board. Takes Chicago to the Eastern conference finals at least.

not sure. i was thinking they will grab all kinds of guys who will get serious minutes because who else they going to play?

True, but if he can play both 4 and 5 and Thibs gets him contesting shots and rebounding.... Its a good pickup....
