Any confirmation on the schedule release for tomorrow? It seem really late this year!

I'm not one for conspiracy theories, but I really do hope this one is true and I hope the ratings blow the Mavs game out of the water.Anyone else buying into the conspiracy theory that they are releasing the schedule tonight at 8 because it's the same time as the Mavericks playoff game (after what Cuban said about the NFL)?

I agree with that authors opinions:http://ftw.usatoday.com/2014/04/dallas-cowboys-nfl-schedule-mark-cuban/I'm not one for conspiracy theories, but I really do hope this one is true and I hope the ratings blow the Mavs game out of the water.Anyone else buying into the conspiracy theory that they are releasing the schedule tonight at 8 because it's the same time as the Mavericks playoff game (after what Cuban said about the NFL)?
Do I think it’s possible that when the NFL’s date and time options were being weighed, the prospect of messing with Cuban was a tiny checkmark in Wednesday’s “pro” column? I guess it’s possible.
Do I think that, even if that wasn’t the case, now that the league office realizes the schedule release will partially mess with Cuban, there are a few wry smiles on Park Avenue? Absolutely.
That Jerry Jones quote is hilarious... Especially the caption they added under his name.http://ftw.usatoday.com/2014/04/dallas-cowboys-nfl-schedule-mark-cuban/I'm not one for conspiracy theories, but I really do hope this one is true and I hope the ratings blow the Mavs game out of the water.Anyone else buying into the conspiracy theory that they are releasing the schedule tonight at 8 because it's the same time as the Mavericks playoff game (after what Cuban said about the NFL)?
On Wednesday night at 8 p.m. ET, the league will release the 2014 NFL schedule. The release of the schedule comes along with multiple primetime release shows.
This is not atypical of the NFL schedule release. (Also not atypical: people complaining about the NFL making a big deal out of this. Those people need to get a life and, you know, not watch if they're that passionate.)
What's different about the schedule release this year is it's about a week later than it usually is. In April of 2013, the 2013 NFL Schedule came on the 18th of the month. Now it's the 23rd, which means the NBA and NHL playoffs are in full swing.
And wouldn't you know it, but the NFL finds itself going head-to-head in competition for eyeballs with the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday night.
Those Mavericks, of course, are owned by Mark Cuban.
And Cuban, naturally, recently said the NFL is 10 years away from "implosion."
It's a brilliant play by the NFL, even if it's just coincidental. (The NFL will say it is. I won't believe them. You can do what you want.)
If the NFL schedule shows on NFL Network and ESPN outdraw the Mavericks playoff game, it's the beatdown of Cuban's life. If they don't, well, of course they didn't. One is a show about schedules and the other is a live playoff game.
We'll have all the updates -- how about some freaking LEAKS? -- news, info and whatnot throughout the day and evening here. Book mark the page and make sure to refresh early and often.

That's not going to be fun at allFF championship week 16 will have games on TNF, Saturday (x2), Sunday of course, and MNF (x2).
While that does look insane - my guess is the road game at New England before the "home" game in London is actually doing them a favor. I'm sure they'll leave from NE to fly across the Atlantic for that game, thus making it about the shortest trip possible. Here's Oakland:
Week 1: Sunday, Sept. 7, at NY Jets, 1 p.m.
Week 2: Sunday, Sept. 14, Houston, 4:25 p.m.
Week 3: Sunday, Sept. 21, at New England, 1 p.m.
Week 4: Sunday, Sept. 28, Miami, 1 p.m. (in London)
Week 5: BYE
Oh man.
How is that messing with any tradition? The Lions and Cowboys are each still playing home games...what difference does it make whether they play NFC or AFC teams? I actually like it better that they will be playing division rivals. So maybe I missed something, but why are the Lions playing the Bears on Thankgiving? I know they have that weird flex scheduling thing now where CBS/FOX can get different games, but why mess with the tradition of Thanksgiving?
Yeah I thought about that, but @NYJ and @NE are two of the toughest road venues in the league. They go cross country to a team that went 6-2 at home last year, then back home cross country where Schaub gets his old team, then back cross country to a team that went 8-0 at home last year, then across the pond (still with some time difference, even with acclimating in MA) where they get the honor of also losing a real home game. Then they get the early bye. I think they're lucky if they get out of that 1-3. They also get the NFCW with a road game at Seattle. Tough sledding. While that does look insane - my guess is the road game at New England before the "home" game in London is actually doing them a favor.
