2014 Snap Counts & Utilization (1 Viewer)

I thought the titans was interesting with mccluster dominating snaps even more than woodhead.

but people need to remember that snaps only very loosely correlate with production at this position.

if I was a linebacker I would expect doubling my snaps to significantly increase my production, but if your team runs 65-70 plays on offense even 20 carries is a good day, which isn't even a third of the snaps --- some other guy could get the other 2/3rds and get 0 carries on twice as many snaps.

edit: and being surprised by morris is what I'm talking about ---- if the game is split evenly between run and pass then you aren't getting more than half the snaps even if you dominate teh number of carries unless you double as a passing down back like forte.

almo is like an ingram or a matthews.

If Parmele assumes Dwyer's role is it possible he sees the same snap % and touches? There has to be some value in that in deep standard leagues at least.

I think that is all irrelevant, as it would be too small to matter compared to a td

and according to this guy:

Darren Urban ‏@Cardschatter BA: Jalen Parmele will slide into Dwyer's short-yardage/goal line role.
that's all that matters for deep leagues

Yeah, could be the difference between 7 and 10 points though, every point counts haha. I find it interesting (but not surprising) that Taylor's not really even in the equation. He saw the same # of the snaps week 1, which might as well be zero. I know nothing about Parmele, aside from remembering that he got some time with JAC two years ago when MJD went down. Interestingly enough, I believe he got the nod over Rashad Jennings at the time before succumbing to injury himself.
