*2015 MLB Playoffs Bandwagon Thread* (1 Viewer)

Man it's really hard to root for the Mets, even though I love Koya and Cespedes, because Da Glitz is the pits.

For me it's anyone but the Cards in the NL, and I'll stick with the Astros in the AL. Can't say I hate any of the other three AL teams, but I'll be rooting for the NL team unless it's the Cards as per tradition.

I guess this would be the order of teams I want to win the series this year:

1. Astros

2. Cubs

3. Dodgers (one of my best friends is a Dodgers fan, a good one at that)

4. Mets

5. Blue Jays

5. Texas

7. Royals

8. Cardinals (I'm sick of this, make it stop)

When the Cubs win this thing Theo Epstein moves into some kind of special place in sports lore.
They'll never win, I watched the 2003 NLCS Bartman game with two Cubs fans. After that I was sure they'd never win it, much like the Detroit Lions never will. Hope I'm wrong on both, but I'll believe it when I see it. The higher the expectations, the harder the landing.

I'm not a Cubs fan but I think something special will be lost when the streak is broken. Multi-generational losing streaks and imaginary curses unite a fanbase in a way that championships cannot.
