Picks/young players? There's a decent chance they are a .500 or worse this year and next year. When Westbrook loses a step he's going to go from a top 5 player to mediocre really quick. If Boston calls with the two Brooklyn picks and Bradley, wouldn't that make some sense?
No way Bennett is authorizing that move. Bennett had shown he's a NBA owner so he could make money, not win titles. Trading Westbrook would kill the value of his franchise so much that he'd have to move them back to Seattle. I'm not sure OKC can support a losing franchise.

Basketball wise it's easier draft/build a team around Westbrook then to draft another Westbrook.

Is there an opportunity for him to carve out a role there?  Seems like Charlotte has been looking for a SG since Rex.  Lamb had a ton of potential coming out of college.  Perhaps a post-post-post hype candidate?
It's hard to say as Clifford is very clearly still trying to figure out what he's got on this roster and hasn't settled into any consistent rotation. But Lamb did follow up that big game with Batum out with another one with Batum back. The Hornets desperately need either or both of Lamb and Bellineli to be good this year, as both have in spots so far. Those guys could go along way towards fixing the perennial "who the hell is going to score besides Kemba" problem.

There's definitely opportunity there.

The Hornets may not have a bunch of top flight blue chippers, but they sure do have a hell of a lot of depth. Sessions, Lamb, and Bellineli coming off the bench, along with the great white trio of useful bigs that can score (Kaminsky's got a long way to go, but he seems to be getting better). Hibbert isn't very good, but as a 4th big, he's not too bad.

MIKE CONLEY'S VERTEBRATE WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111111111
That's awesome news for my BTTF team that was killing it.

ETA: More importantly, this is actually good news for my Denver Nuggets who own the Grizzly's pick this year.

Nice road win for the Lakers on night 2 of a b2b after getting blown out last night without DLoading.  Future is bright fellas.  Luke is for real.

probably the greatest quote from the actual article: In September he popped up on Twitter under his own name, sending a string of 10 tweets that ended with a call for reading recommendations. (Hundreds responded, including Embiid, who sent a link to an article about himself.)

Apologies to everybody's favorite T-Wolves, but they ain't no match for the Hornets. MKG shutting Wiggins down. That terrible T-Wolves defense awakened every Hornet.

God Draymond aka Randle Lite is a ####### tool. 2nd guy he's kicked in a week.

“It’s funny how you can tell me how I get hit and how my body is supposed to react. I didn’t know the league office was that smart when it came to body movements. I’m not sure if they took kinesiology for their positions to tell you how your body is going to react when you get hit in a certain position. Or you go up and you have guys who jump to the ceiling. A lot of these guys that make the rules can’t touch the rim, yet they tell you how you’re way up there in the air which way you’re body (is supposed to go). I don’t understand that. That’s like me going in there and saying, ‘Hey, you did something on your paperwork wrong.’ I don’t know what your paperwork looks like. But it is what it is.... Let them keep telling people how their body react, I guess. They need to go take a few more kinesiology classes, though. Maybe they can take a taping class or functional movement classes. Let me know how the body works, because clearly mine don’t work the right way.”

The Warriors are just plain silly.  Up 80-50 at the half.  Clay with 40 on 22 shots in 18 minutes.
Who could have guessed that a team with the second- and third-best players in the league along with two other top 15 players would be much much better than almost all of the other teams?

It's Larry Bird's birthday today. He's 60.

Seems like that MSU ISU game was just a couple of years ago. #### I'm old.
