interesting, to me just at a glance, it seems cake went more bats than pie up to this point.  could be I am drafting in different locations, but seems cake has very good arms left here, whereas pie did not.  I think........but maybe I am think of AOD or the WIS draft?

I think pie changed their pitching limit rules this year.

I love that Dr. ADP is using that as his argument.

WARNING: A bunch of stupid people from yahoo prep drafts made this bad decision so you should too in this league with people who know substantially more

List I'm looking at right now has him at 19.

Edit: I don't care about adp. Most people are stupid.
It's not about the projections.

When you go to your favorite restaurant and get your favorite meal for $25, do you insist you're going to pay them $40 for the item because you think it's better than a $40 plate?

Don't get the Rendon love. He's fine, but nothing to get excited about.
25yo. Easily the best bat available at 2B. Hitting in the heart of a stud lineup. Will fill all 5 categories. Was a borderline 1st round pick last year but season derailed by injuries making him way undervalued this year and poised for a huge bounce-back season. Yeah, whats to like?

#1 that's a terrible analogy. #2 ADP has zero relation to this league at all. There were 12-13 selections between me and my next pick, he was a clear #1 on my board and I didn't believe he was coming back to me. I don't care what a bunch of yahoo dorks do when it comes time to building my roster

It's pretty easy to tell why you're so bad at this and need a partner.

Yes, if you think it's worth more than $40, and there's only one, and you think someone else might be willing to spend $45 on it.

part of the interesting aspect of cake draft is that every owner is a legit eggspurt at fantasy sports...............but really, our owners are nationwide and some guys simply have homer leans on players.  I don't think anyone is going under the radar and if you truly want a guy, may as well grab him.  Sano for me in the 2nd is early, because I just want something a bit more that I can rely on at that point in the draft, but its the kind of pick that can win or lose a draft.  that early, it can lose it more than win it, because you could get some guys that you know will put up the numbers that you are projecting him for.  3b eligibility helps.  I figure he wouldn't have made it out of the 3rd round.

Capella hasn't watched an out of town game in years.

In the NFL draft, a team should pass on the top player on their board, because Chris Mortensen and Mel Kiper had them as a round 2 pick - Dr. D
