This logic makes zero sense. If a Kershaw start equals a guaranteed win then they only have to win one game more at Wrigley.  If he's not (spoiler alert- he's not) than the Dodgers might well have needed to win twice at Wrigley without Kershaw if he'd pitched and lost last night.  Can't have it both ways. However you slice it they needed two wins in three games to advance and Kershaw can only start once, it doesn't matter which game he starts.

Yes, because going back to Chicago knowing you'll likely have to win two is great logic.  I listed my reasoning two pages ago, if you don't like it well I can't do much about that.

I saw a tweet that said the first pitch throwers have already been lined up and supposedly Tribe fans will love them. I'm suspecting a lot of 90s-era players. I would love it if John Adams got one of those slots.

Won't be Sheen.  Adams would be cool.  I also think Hamilton would be a classy move.

But man, so many questions about this roster and what to do.  The pitching is tough to navigate without knowing Bauer and Salazar health.  Crockett could sneak onto the squad if we meet the Dodgers.  Santana/Napoli dance in games 3-5.  Can't imagine they keep carrying 3 catchers when Santana can be emergency catcher.

According to Sahadev Sharma of The Athletic, Kyle Schwarber could serve as the Cubs' designated hitter should they advance to the World Series.
Schwarber will begin playing in the Arizona Fall League on Saturday. If he proves his health over the next couple of days there and the Cubs advance past the Dodgers, there's a very real possibility that Schwarber (who is the club's all-time leader in postseason home runs with five) could return.
