2017 College Football Thread: Hawaiian QB devastated to find out Jesus was "kinda rooting for Georgia" (2 Viewers)

Kelly Bryant out for Clemson at QB - a true freshmen Zerrick Cooper in against a tough Auburn D

Doing some jogging on sideline - might have been a concussion

42 points in the first half.  0 in the second.  13 penalties.  Bad breaks on offensive sets, silly errors, costly turnovers.

Still like this team a lot more than what was put on the field the last two years.
Tough schedule. They avoid USC, but at Stanford, at Washington, at UCLA (had to throw that last one in, lol). If they survive that schedule they'll have earned it. Good win today.

I do too but not coming out to play in the 2nd half not a good sign.

Nice OU drive stops after freshmen TE drops a pass that could have been a TD - then a botched hold leads to a missed FG. trailing 0-3

As a diehard Buckeye fan, I must say that was embarrassing!  We were completely outplayed in that first half. We are very fortunate to be tied. Not looking forward to the 2nd half.

Not to be "that guy" but back in my day they wouldn't have cancelled games due to a hurricane. The would have given us a trash bag poncho, thrown us a handful of salt tablets, and told us to hit the field.  Damn millennials.
I watched a game in a hurricane a few years ago at Rhode Island, in which one team had three safeties and lost 12-6 in overtime because it tried to throw a halfback option pass into a 50 mph wind.

Is Lamar Jackson not in the conversation? Will be watching with interest this year to see how his game fills out.
I don't see his style working in the NFL- especially at his size. However, maybe I need to pay closer attention. I've just kind of always written him off as closer to Denard Robinson than Russell  Wilson. I think that was very wrong of me. Maybe he can be Michael Vick?

Not as good as Vick as a passer.  Gonna be a slot WR in the NFLPros.

tOSU looked good last drive and they have been landing serious shots on Mayfield. Buckeyes might pull away.

I'm not sure Stanford can keep up with USC all night long

Maybe. I'm hoping he can become a better version of RGIII, without the baggage.

Wisconsin beat Florida Atlantic University today. Florida Atlantic staying in Madison until probably Monday. The Badgers are paying for their extended stay and providing practice facilities, trainers, etc. Very cool of the Badgers.
