2017 College Football Thread: Hawaiian QB devastated to find out Jesus was "kinda rooting for Georgia" (2 Viewers)

2 TD lead, late in the game. Opponents have 1 offensive TD and don't even know what to do with their QB. Everything is in your favor. Why just flip a ball up in the air like that???

Announcer really was correct. BSU didn't have a normal milk the clock offense. They needed to be more conservative and let their defense win the game since the D is the strength of the team.

Especially fun since both teams had some of the more strongly established QBs in college football but most of the game came down to both of the back-up QBs.

I was thinking that I might get a Fathead™ of Mayfield planting the flag in the O, but on second thought I'm just gonna wallpaper my whole house in it.

Scathing article from Pat Forde and the reporter who had the exchange with him is equally snarky.
I don't really care if Kelly is a jerk.  Saban is a jerk, Meyer is kind of jerk, there's lots of jerks.  What would irk me if I were an ND fan is that no coach has made it cool to go to ND in decades. ND redesigned their locker rooms to give them that classic ND feel, but the players don't give a #### about the past. They care about wearing jerseys with the jump man logo on them, they care about winning, and they care about going to the pros.  They do not give a damn about who won multiple titles decades before they were born.

ND's fans should be embarrassed about themselves too. No excuse to let a team fill half your stadium and be the louder crowd - you want a 21st century football team, act like a 21st century crowd and not one that's just there for the status of being at Notre Dame.

1. Bama

2. OU? (I say OU because I'm sure they'll carry a few first place votes and I don't think Clemson will).

3. Clemson

4. USC

5. Penn State

6. Washington

7. Michigan

8. Oklahoma St

9. UGA? (Big jump but there's not many more with real wins)

10. Maybe Ohio State - get that first quality loss program here.

That Alabama loss not quality?

You could almost hear Herbstreit  crying during the post game.     Does Herman take the high road or does he make a snarky post about Urban this week?

I'm just in wait and see mode with your QB situation.  Honestly I think your defense alone is good enough to beat UGA, Michigan, maybe Washington even. I just gotta see if the QB is decent, neutral, or bad.
What about Ohio's QB situation? That guy sucks beyond belief.
