2017 College Football Thread: Hawaiian QB devastated to find out Jesus was "kinda rooting for Georgia" (2 Viewers)

I can't get over the quotes from that guy. I mean I know they don't drink but I always thought BYU fans were just like any other big CFB school otherwise. This quote is baffling - “Look, if it’s on TV, it’s on TV, but we’re not going to put on a specific game, because then the college kids come in here and drink waters and don’t buy anything.”

@Mad Cow I need you to go to this bar on Saturday and report back. Do we have anyone else on the ground in Provo?

Who do our Ducks have this weekend???!
Oh, hello JoeT.

Tomorrow, our Ducks head to the intimidating badlands of Laramie, Wyoming where many have ventured but few have returned......unscathed.  It's going to be tough sledding against future NFL lottery pick Justin Allen and the cocksure Cowboys who tattooed Garden Weber Wobble last week in a colossal showdown of college might.  I expect the sellout crowd of nearly 14,000 to be on their feet and rockus as these two teams slog for 60 full minutes in what appears to be light rain and mild temps.  You don't just drive into Laramie and win; you have to earn it.  For if you don't, that long drive back through lonesome Wyoming will be demoralizing, soul crunching and maudlin.

I'm not sure what that refers to?   Provo is very skewed LDS, but not as much in years past.  What's the quote from?   The other thing to keep in mind,  and I speak from experience being a business owner here,  is Utah county is as cheap as they come anywhere in the county.  The quote I've heard is they squeeze a quarter so tightly you can hear the eagle scream.

Ok,  see it from the Wisconsin article.  Sorry,  in Vegas for CE but will be at the game tomorrow.

1) Same as the alleged Wyoming elevation.

2) At least it is downhill. And at like 90 legal miles per hour.

3. Still not sure I can lay 2 tds there.

@Long Ball Larry 3 missed FGs, a fumble inside the 20 in the final two minutes of the half. Sad and infuriating because they have the talent to be competitive but keep shooting themselves in the foot.

Will be very interesting to see what the AD does if they end up 0-6 going into what now will be a two-week bye with the USF cancellation.

Temple really showing their mettle gritting out a win against a 1-AA school and getting lucky against, well, no offense.

Louisville's oline against Clemson's dline might be the worst matchup you could have between any of the top-15 teams though.

The Pac-12 Network featured a countdown this week of the 12 greatest football players in UCLA history. Troy Aikman was #1. Rosen might be better.
