2017 College Football Thread: Hawaiian QB devastated to find out Jesus was "kinda rooting for Georgia" (3 Viewers)

BC gets an interception and returns to the ND 40, needs 10 yards for a field goal with 18 second before half. They run up the middle and let the clock expire with two timeouts in their pocket. What the heck?
BC can thank my alma mater that it doesn't have the worst coach in Massachusetts right now.

Well I guess ND decided at half time to just start running the ball. As bad a day as Wimbush had throwing, he broke the ND QB rushing record (currently 207 yards) and is the first player in 40+ years with 4 rushing TDs for ND.

Florida doing everything they can do to blow this game. And to think that they were thisclose to taking a 19-3 lead a bit ago (with the XP pending).

If their D weren't so exhausted from carrying the team, I'd expect them to beat the tar out of the offensive scrubs.  Florida's offense is dreadful and that's coming from an Arkansas fan

With 9 seconds left they had to be guarding against something that would give Pinero a chance a long FG with 1 second left. They couldn't just play the Hail Mary.

Trying to keep up...Is Rosen still a better college QB than Leinart?
Not yet. But he might end up that way.

Roaen made some bad decisions today, and some beautiful passes. His real problem is that he's got no offensive line, no running game, and no defense to speak of. It's 100% on his shoulders. Leinart was lucky enough to have one of the most talented teams around him in the history of college football.

gump, as a life long Bruin fan, what I would give for just a couple of your offensive and defensive linemen. UCLA rarely has exceptional players in the trenches.

I mean, who cares if he can't. Ok he completes it to the 23. What does it matter?
Well, maybe in the sense you would be expecting to guard the 10 yard line and he threw it to the 5.  I'm just guessing.  It's certainly possible they simply just didn't coach this situation.

Cant win without em...Clemson, OSU, FSU all the same. Have to recruit them...Van Der Doos was a good one but surprising they can't get that done.

"Leaping over the punt shield" is a 15 yard penalty?  What sport is this?

The team needs some kind of identity.  Might as well be this.

Who the #### thought it would be a good idea to hire a ####### .500 coach from Oregon State?
I had this same discussion with my brother a few weeks ago. Diehards keep saying that Riley needs a couple more years to get "his" players into the program. My answer was why, so we can be just like Oregon State.

I've been a lifelong fan, but less than enthusiastic since the firing of Frank Solich. There is no reason for a top prospect to come to Nebraska. There's no beach or scantily clad women year round. If you want to go to a cold weather college, go somewhere with a coach that wins championships like Ohio State. There's too much competition to recruit pro style players. We should return to our roots and recruit option qb's, road grading offensive linemen and smothering defensive players.

Bob Devaney is probably rolling over in his grave. (although it may be to top off his scotch and soda)
