2017 College Football Thread: Hawaiian QB devastated to find out Jesus was "kinda rooting for Georgia" (2 Viewers)

So for those of you not watching, FSU got it down to 6 points with exactly 3 minutes left and no timeouts. And Jimbo......Jimbo has them boom a kickoff into the end zone.

One first down ends the game no matter where it is. How the hell do you not onside it there????

Teams kick deep in those kinds of situations way, way too often. College and pro. If a first down costs you the game it doesn't matter if it's on their 30 or your 40.

I swear to God I don't understand it. What are you getting out of that? I get if you stop them you are in terrible field position with a punt, but...how is that your concern????

Why is that TCU's ball?  I thought if the punt kicking team touched the ball first it didn't matter if the receiver team touched it.

Yeah, I didn't get that either.

I REALLY like your QB, though. That dude has a cannon attached to his shoulder. He just needs to harness it a bit.

I am looking for some clarification on that play as well but what was the OKState player thinking?
I always thought that once the kicking team touched it the receiving team could pick it up and would get the ball even if they then fumbled. It used to be a smart play for the receiving team to do that though not sure why that kid was blocking  there.

Hmmmm, never heard or seen that.

UMass probably wins if Ford doesn't get hurt, never mind the fact that the NFL prospect TE didn't play at all.

Of course, it begs the question of why he doesn't trust the No. 2 QB to throw the ball in a pro-style offense.

0-5 ... Could have won any of the five.

:sadbanana:

Clemson is struggling with BC

WTF?
Just sluggish. Look like a team coming off two big wins playing a team that’s a huge dog. I mean BC has only run a few plays on the clemson side of the 50, they haven’t really threatened to score.  Clemson needs to stop with the passing and just keep running.

Amend my earlier response. Offense is complete trash today.

That was not a TCU TD.

Bad calls are one thing; bad calls after reviewing the replay video are inexcusable.

Full disclosure: I'm multitasking in the kitchen.
