I hate our coach but USC matches up really well against tOSU. The explanation is dumb Midwest hicks vacationing in Vegas apparently. tOSU will have no answer for RoJo and Darnold will tear that defense a new one.

Looking forward to the farmers only dot com commercials for the buckeye fans.

 
I think Ohio State wins tonight but 10 points is probably too much.  Pac 12 not doing very in bowls this year.  Darnold played great in the Rose Bowl last year but I haven't been very impressed with him this year.  Ohio State just has too many athletes for USC.

Probably...he will have a lot of opportunities on deep balls down the sidelines with one on one man cover.

Apparently our safeties can’t be bothered to help our midgets. USC’s CBs are not very good.

If he can hit some of those deep routes that will be huge for the Buckeyes. I don’t think they will be able to run consistently against the Trojan front 7.

Sort of obvious but turnover margin will dictate outcome likely. If Darnold is sloppy or reckless that will be a big problem for USC.

TAMU has lost the third most soldiers of any University fighting for our country, (Behind only USMA, and USAFA), but I guess that's not real enough?

this is a MAC level coaching staff. Definitely advantage to Ohio state there.

I cant think of one sitting out, but there was talk leading up to last year’s title game that the everyone was focused on the game, while the year before when we lost there were a few who had already shifted their focus to their future careers.  Jayron Kearse and Mackensie Alexander were two that have been brought up as completely mailing it in at the end.  Kearse I believe, but Alexander I doubt though. He had been playing through injury most of the season.

Nothing new though about kids losing focus thru Dec or gameday because of their NFL future...coaches who experience it know it and plan for it.  A kid sitting out is a whole new ballgame and I agree I can’t imagine it happening.

Caught me before my edit. 99.9% of my posting here is on my ipad and I’ve actually got the Cotton bowl streaming in a window as well.  I was trying to hit backspace and hit return instead, but it didn’t show until I posted.
