@faiello_mari: #Gators HBC Spurrier on Coach Mike Leach: "I saw him briefly last week,...just said hello to coach Leach. Somebody's gonna hire Mike Leach. Let's hope it's not #FSU."

Ooofff

@MBakerTBTimes: Kyle Trask is up to 257 passing yards. #Gators haven't had a 300-yard passer since Luke Del Rio against Kentucky in '16.

I’d take him but he seems a little out there. Not sure he’s a guy who will take you to a title.Ā

How are these defenders supposed to stop their tackle in mid tackle just because the QB goes down with a knee in the middle of the play.

Hilarious

Can’t argue that one. Guy should get multiple games for that. Ridiculous.Ā
Multiple games for trying to tackle? He was going shoulder first and McCaffery slid down into him. Was it late? maybe. But it definitely wasn't targeting that should net a suspension.

No.Ā
Ā

I assume you’re talking about the first one because if you are talking the second you need to gtfo with that. It was a reckless hit.Ā

But it’s stupid ### hits like that, that lead to the soft penalties like the first one. It’s gotta stop, #### is insane.Ā
Second one was definitely justified. Poor call on the 1st one. But one has nothing to do with the other. Just call the play correctly.

They did. They called it exactly as it’s intended to be called. And it’s intended that way because of the recklessness of other hits. They want nothing to the head, full stop.Ā

Is WI this good or Michigan that over-rated? Or a little bit of both?
Both....said it at the beginning of the season.Ā  That said, this defense is laying an absolute turd.Ā  It's like they took two weeks off and did nothing.Ā  Wisconsin's been exactly what they always are and Michigan looks like it's the first time they've ever seen it...baffling for a Brown defense.Ā  Also worth noting that the defense is not simply "next man up" level of talent.Ā  They lost a ton and it shows.

Here’s a targeting flow chart I’ve found helpful.Ā
Ā

did your team’s playerĀ hit the dreaded other team’s playerĀ in the head while in a leading motion to the player? Even though your team rules and their team sucks?

^^^^^ in the future please refer to the same flow chart when wondering if your top-40 football or basketball program is playing players. Just change the bottom answer to ā€œyes your team is paying the playersā€Ā

...and the opposition is down 2 starting safties and playing prevent.Ā
because those two guys draped all over them for PI is going to make it different somehow?Ā  :oldunsure:

This comment would make sense if we were talking a situation where the WRs were running free everywhere.Ā  I've been saying since Collins stepped on campus they need to throw him the ball even if he's triple covered...let him make plays.Ā  They've only done that when they've been down big.

Relax Commish. It's all friendly #### talking here. That's what we do right? Or did I miss a memo?

UM playcalling certainly got more aggressive in the late stages of the game. UW was certainly not bringing the pressure that they were earlier in the game and youth in the secondary contributed to that. That's all I was saying. Enjoy your weekend. :banned: Ā

Could be....but that doesn't explain how they were so ill prepared on defense...that's the puzzling part.Ā  They looked like a Rich Rod defense today.
Sure it does. If you think your coach is a nutball without him having a ton of recent success, you'll go on auto-pilot. Say what you want about how that's on the players; I blame the coaches and their dumb-### "football is war!" mentality. Harbaugh is at the forefront of that crap - AND, he doesn't win enough.Ā
