2019 College football thread - It's 2020, yo. Go to the new thread. (2 Viewers)

It was the same play Clemson ran to beat Bama for the first title. The QB has to throw when the slot WR comes out of the break. Zeno waited too long.
Thats great and all but your QB is a third stringer who has thrown 6 passes all year, he's not Trevor Lawrence

Oklahoma isn’t as good as they were two years ago, but I guess someone has to go if Georgia loses. I thought this was a nine win team so I’m happy at 12-1 obviously.

I think UGa wins today though.

This year is also another year of evidence as to the size of the playoffs too. Once again most will likely struggle to find more than 4 teams worthy of a championship playoff.

As a fan, more playoff football is a fun idea. But once again there is a clear tier of haves and everyone else and letting a group of two loss teams into this would seem to cheapen the seasons had by the top teams.

They better.   Otherwise OKL in the playoffs is a joke.  Who cares if they only had one loss. They had a cakewalk schedule with no signature wins.  Beating a team like Baylor isn't a big accomplishment.  Baylor barely beat a bunch of garbage teams.

Got it.

They have to pick 4.  At some point it becomes a "who else is there?" situation.  Every other team is going to have flaws also.

Does anyone think OKL would have only 1 loss if they had a schedule like Georgia?   Maybe OKL homers but that's it.

If Georgia plays close to LSU they should 100% get in over OKL.   Even if WI somehow wins vs OSU they should get in over OKL.  They had a far tougher schedule.

LOL. Look at LSU's schedule vs OU's, then pull up FPI along side it, and then make the same statement with a straight face. Same thing with Georgia.

LSU is undefeated.  Georgia beat multiple top teams.  OKL beat nobody outside of Baylor who also had a cakewalk schedule.

Slippery Rock has been making strides in D2 the last couple of years. Other than that, I can’t really say.
Ferris is really good. They have to have the lowest entry standards of any college in Michigan. No slight against my lady who was an All American volleyball player there, but they can pretty much take anyone who doesn’t qualify d1. All their sports teams are great: football, hoops, pucks, track, etc.
