2019 College football thread - It's 2020, yo. Go to the new thread. (4 Viewers)

In other news, the Houston QB who absolutely wasn’t going to transfer when he stopped playing this season so he could redshirt...has entered the transfer portal.

20 minutes ago I was ready to tell some of you to suck it up and deal with being tired tomorrow, only a few more opportunities for great football games this year.

Now I’m ####### exhausted.

Main reason Ohio State lost, I thought, is because they settled for field goals in the red zone too often. LSU is certainly not doing that; they get 7 every time.

I just don't understand how hitting a dude in the shoulder is an ejection?
they explained if you lower your head and launch, that is targeting - doesn’t matter where the crown of the helmet lands

but in this example, the crown of the helmet hit Jefferson’s helmet

Laying in bed with an old-school radio broadcast ain’t a bad way to follow.

To be clear i get the crown is textbook targeting, it's just bull#### to eject in this situation IMO. Huge loss for Clemson.

I get that. But it is a crappy rule. Unless there is evidence this is somehow more dangerous. The hit earlier on the Clemson WR was way more dangerous than that one.
It's to protect the one delivering the hit as much as the one receiving.  Head down like that is dangerous for the hitter.
