2021 Dallas Cowboys - SIZZLER Open for a limited time. SF @ DAL (1 Viewer)

So which option do you Cowboy fans feel is best for 2023?

  • Keep coaching staff as is (assuming you can keep Moore and Quinn as coordinators)
  • Keep McCarthy regardless of if you lose Moore or Quinn or both
  • Fire McCarthy and promote either Moore or Quinn to Head Coach and try to keep the other Coordinator
  • Clean house with a new coach and coordinators, assuming Moore and Quinn get HC jobs.

I don’t have a problem with Moore, and I hope Quinn stays. The defensive turnaround this year was unreal

As far as McCarthy, I’d have to know who’s replacing him before I could decide

How do they put the ball into their best offensive players hand 1 time throughout the entire game?  Lamb is an electric player and you have to get him involved...look at what SF did with Deebo?  this isn't that hard...you give you best player the ball and let them make plays.  Same goes with Pollard...he may not be as good as protection as Zeke but running / receiving the ball Pollard >>>>Zeke.

100% agree. I'd still argue Dallas is a better team(roster anyway) than SF, this was a failure of coaching on every level.

Also, Zeke playing most of the season on a torn PCL, while they had a better RB behind him was just about as dumb as it gets. They could have just started Pollard, and then likely had Zeke healthy and with fresh legs down the stretch.

I saw the same thing. DB's were playing 10-15 yards off on Lamb and Cooper. How you aren't running comebacks, slants, or screens is beyond me.

that's the biggest bunch of BS and a total cop out.  That's poor coaching and poor leadership from the top down if you let that kind of environment impact your on the field effort.  Did/do the Pats have a problem with this?  They've won quite a few games right?  Odd that this isn't an issue there.   What a joke to make these kind of excuses...they are grown men and if it's those types of issues that will distract them from winning I think they may be choosing the wrong types of players to play for them.

They have talent but they don't play smart or disciplined....That comes down to coaching.  The truth is they are a mediocre team that got to absolutely feast on the worst division in football which helped hide their flaws.   Why are they worst in the league in penalties?  coaching/discipline...that's completely fixable and it played a HUGE role in their loss this weekend.

Only one I am comfortable with is Quinn.

Fat Mike and Moore can take a lap.
