But it’s the NFL and any given Sunday, and nobody can predict the future. Could they lose? Nothing is a non-zero probability in the realm of sports entertainment.

I think the problem is that we have ZERO faith in Pickett. And the whole "any given Sunday" thing applies, especially against a hated rival. My general thoughts:
*Eagles are not eliminated from earning the #1 seed. Until they are I am not assuming anything. Detroit plays Monday night and while I certainly do not expect them to lose, stranger things have occured.
*Eagles offense will not let up. 72% Barkley & the O-line, 28% Pickett short-to-intermediate with Smith the major beneficiary.
*Eagles defense will tear up the Cowboys. Embarrassed last week, Fangio & Co. will completely dominate, start-to-finish.
*Eagles will trot out McKee sometime during the second half to give him some in-game experience.
*Surprisingly, I am in agreement with @Ministry of Pain , the O/U is way too low. Eagles cover that on their own.

What is with injury reporting nowadays? Pickett had broken ribs all week? Josh Allen had a broken hand in week 1? Like 5 49ers had injuries that no one knew about.

That’s good to hear. When I read Mailata’s comments after the game I was a little pissed about it.
Breaking these records feels fake to me anyway. Everyone above Barkley did it in 16 games and OJ did it in 14. They’re not as sacred to me and never will be when they keep adding games. I’m glad he got the 2k now let’s get healthy and win some playoff games!

They need to really get someone next year to take some of the load off Barkley. We’ve been lucky he hasn’t gotten hurt this year but we all saw CMC last year first full season healthy then played 1 1/2 games this year. Someone who can take 5-10 tots from him a game running and catching. We need better depth.
Yeah rest everyone next week let Pickett play if he can go in case you need him in the playoffs and give Hurts another week to recover.

Reporting seems weird on injuries this year. I got f’d in my title game as I didn’t see till the game started Hubbard was put on IR yesterday. Like I didn’t even know he was hurt. I also didn’t get an update till late Dobbins has his practice window line up but no report if he was starting or not Saturday but couldn’t risk it as the only other RB I could start was swift who played on Thursday.
NFL needs to do better on this next year. Seems like teams are hiding injuries left and right now

I'd go withMcKee next week. While I do believe Pickett should be #2, if we're playing backups anyway let Pickett be the backup next week and rest those ribs.
I wouldn't be terribly upset to give the starters a drive or two if Hurts is ready to go, but most of the stars should rest most of the game

It might be Ian Book for all 60 minutes next week. If Pickett's at-risk of missing 2 or more weeks (or not being 100% for a bit) with this rib injury, that would make him unavailable for the Wild Card round. They need to make sure McKee stays healthy so we have a serviceable #2 behind Hurts against GB or WSH.

The Packers main wins of note are over a Rams team that was decimated by injuries at the time and over a Texans team that has a dreadful OL and a QB who regressed. Otherwise they beat up on bad teams.
Correct me if I'm wrong didn't Tanner have more TD's passes in the game. A better passer rating than Kenny obviously with less passes. There's a big drop off in talent from Jalen to Kenny. But an upgrade in talent with Tanner in comparison to Kenny.
