2024 Philadelphia Eagles - First one was for the fans. This one was for the team. Next one is for the legacy. (2 Viewers)

And packers again.
feel like we are better than we were week 1. And feel like packers are worse than they were week 1.

Shouldnt be close. I think they are the weakest team on the nfc side

Look ahead line had Eagles -3.
That's it?! No way.

ya those seem really off to me. Also today wasn't so promising for GB. I usually don't get confident with games like some of you do, but -3 seems low to me.

It will adjust tonight.

Im guessing Eagles -7.5 to open.

Nevermind. MGM has it -3.5. grab it now.

It's also saying Saturday 1pm

Eagles open up -3.5

Some sites have already shifted to -4

We were favoured by 1.5 in Brazil, and now we are rested, GB looks suspect, we've been playing very well, and we drop to -0.5 on a neutral field?

7.5 seems way too much. Don't think a line is going to move that much.

Depends if/when Hurts clears protocol.

Those 3.5 lines are just tempting people to take GB to cover. I almost always bet the fave on a 3.5 spread.

My guess is 4.5 at kickoff. Still could be a great game, Love seems to be okay afterall.

Special teams if not fixed is gonna be the death of us this playoffs.

With todays win that’s Owner Jeffrey Lurie’s 300th as owner

A win on Sunday could drop the Giants as far as the 8th pick, and a loss could put them as high as 2nd. Our draft slot will be determined by playoff finish, so the outcome is meaningless, in that regard.

If the game is close in the 4th, we might see both teams trying their best to lose!
Really want to lose this game, that would really crush the Giants if they're wanting to go after their franchise QB.

I'm hoping the Giants draft Sanders or Ward and spend the next 4 years realizing they aren't franchise QBs and are just a franchise in the toilet for the next decade looking for a viable QB.
I hope they draft award that dude literally gave up on Mia.

Of course Saturday at 1 doesn't make sense. Maybe MGM has that wrong.

a few sites are showing sat 1pm. That cannot be right though, right?

Most people predicting it will be the Sat or Sun nighter. With Eastern time zone, I'd probably say Sunday middle or night game.

So lay the points
I don't bet on the Eagles.
You seem concerned about the line
chill, I'm just saying I'm surprised that it's only 3.5 given the current state of both teams.

Probably will move a couple points when hurts clears protocol

I was thinking that also. Also, I assume $$ going to start rolling in on Philly too

@Deamon

What’s funny?

The Eagles' 2025 opponents:

HOME: LAR, LV, DEN, DET, CHI, DAL, NYG, WAS
AWAY: LAC, KC, BUF, TB, MIN, GB, DAL, NYG, WAS
That’s a disaster. Home games are rough, away games are straight ridiculous.

ETA. All the more reason that we need to win this year. It’s hard to win games in the nfl and we seem to be good at it. Strike while the iron is hot!!!

Could be worse than GB. Not sure it could be better. I wasnt sweating WAS either as I felt PHI had some receiepts to give; but Jayden Daniels is for real....and that team is chippy.

GB just feels like they are in a bit of a holding pattern; on the verge of a free fall.

Is there even a 1:00 game on Saturday? I always thought the first game was 4:00 or 4:30.

Yea that's what I said later. Makes no sense. Maybe just a placeholder for Saturday

Gotta say, watching the game I absolutely love how McKee throws with anticipation. I’m lucky enough to see the games throw all-22 in real time and I’m sure you’ll see plenty of what I’m talking about. One play to Dotson, the ball is out of his hands and 5 yards away from him by the time his head is on the ball for a 12 yard game. It’s just not possible to defend some of the passes he threw today. It was very encouraging to see.

Hes very decisive. Has pretty good throw power too. Pretty sure hes already better than kenny

He was a lot better than I expected today for sure. Good to have that kind of ability behind Hurts and we can just let Kenny walk. I was pleased how he made Dotson actually look like a WR

Has the schedule always been like this with first place teams playing a harder schedule and last place teams playing a last place schedule etc?

I think so. That is a crazy hard one for us next year though. Not sure i have seen one that tough on paper. Like we might lose half our games

Yikes, 1st place schedule with the best Conference in the NFL, let alone the NFC on the docket. And what might turn out to be the best Conference in the AFC with DEN and LAC playing better. That’s a tough row to hoe.

Better win this year.

Rams essentially conceded the 3 seed to TB by not trying to win today. The impact to us is that if TB wins vs WSH and we beat GB, we host TB in the divisional round.

I was rooting for ATL to win the South just to not have TB in the equation because they’ve had our number in the playoffs since the Joe Jurevicius/Ronde Barber game. Now, they are likely right in our path.

It's really only 3 games.

Every team in the division plays 6 NFC East games. Then everyone plays an AFC division (this year looks like AFC West). Then everyone plays an NFC division (this year looks like NFC North).

Then you play the two conference divisions you're not playing that season based on where you finished in your division NFC West 1st, NFC South 1st. Then one AFC division based on finish (this year looks like AFC East). So we got Tampa Bay, LA Rams and Buffalo. Washington gets Atlanta, Seattle and Miami. Dallas gets New Orleans, Arizona and the Jets. Giants get Carolina, San Francisco and New England.

Don’t be a Nancy. We will still be good and the rest of the division has the same schedule except for three games.

Yes, although it only affects three games: the two against nfc teams not in the full division you play and the one against the afc team not in the full division you play

Yeah, you don't know who is going to be tough and who isn't.

I say, bring them on! They’ve had our number, but we’ve played them under leas than ideal circumstances. Healthy Oline, healthy Jalen, healthy AJ- I’m looking forward to bouncing them from the playoffs, unceremoniously.

Most of the recent games have been at their place too. Being at home should help alot

Im perfectly fine if he or Pickett has to play a game or two. I could also see some QB merry team who may miss out on a guy and take a chance on McKee if they have Howie an offer they couldn’t refuse.

But I could see keeping both KP and McKee in case Hurts gets injured as he does take more hits then a guy who’s not as mobile.

I wish our QB1 could do that but I think that’s something that will never happen. He’s never gonna be a guy who makes his Recievers look better. But dies kind of make up for it in the run game but ideal for a QB.

This is why we played the Bears a lot when Andy was here
