2024 Philadelphia Eagles - First one was for the fans. This one was for the team. Next one is for the legacy. (18 Viewers)

So I am clear, if we win and TB wins we host them next week. If we win and Wash wins then we host the winner of Rams-Minny. Correct?

I’d rank those three, in terms of aversion to us playing against as:

1. TB
-
-
2. Minny
-
-
-
-
-
3. Rams

I have no fear of Tampa at home. Yea they're pretty good but at home and not in whatever funk we were last year, we should have no issues.

you have "no" fear? I dunno, they're playing pretty well, Irving is a beast, Baker is playing above his pay grade and Todd basically owns Jalen's soul.

Hurts has routinely struggled against TB since he’s gotten into the league. Doesn’t matter how good or not as good we’ve been

I think the fact they have kicked our *** the past few times should be extra motivation to end their season this time.

I’m gonna make a bold prediction: Jalen is gonna be the MVP of the Superb Owl this year.

Remember the feeling we had watching him play against KC in ‘22? He’d have won MVP thar year, if Gannon coulda made one single adjustment in the 2nd Half.

He’s about to ball out thru the playoffs, and show us that level of play again. Look back at the Steelers game and how wide open the Offense was running. Jalen was on fire and looked quick and decisive. He came out in the WAS game looking the same, just got hurt early.

The concussion is fine. Has been fine since the week after. The rust issue is a media hot take.

Nick and Kellen are going to take the governor off this Offense and come out guns blazing. After the early bye, I think there was an organizational shift where they decided to lean on Say-Qwan 🦅 behind the elite Oline, and minimize TOs. They got in Jalen’s ear and convinced him to settle down, stop pressing and play conservative. He did and went from a TO machine to an ultra-conservative game manager.

That’s all over. Eagles are gonna roll over Green Bay and Tampa. They are gonna win a decisive NFCCG over Detroit. Then they are gonna pummel a reeeling Chiefs team. And Jalen is winning MVP.

amongst a bunch of futures bets I made at the beginning of the year, I recently threw $50 @ +1500 on Jalen winning the SB MVP because I agree with you 100%.

I hope you win that bet. That’d be awesome.

Our run D is good. Our pass D is better. Baker is tough but he's also prone to turnovers if you can force him into them. On offense, TBs D cannot stop the full power of our Offense.

Eagles haven't lost to TB when AJ Brown plays.
It is crazy how much we play them. Next week would be the 4th time we play them in 15 months.

I think you’re right. I just worry about Bowles vs Jalen.

A concern for me is teams playing a little extra dirty come playoff time - late “whoops” hits on Jalen Hurts, spearing Saquon when he’s clearly been tackled, etc - I feel a few teams (Washington/Dallas) have taken this approach lately bc for a strange reason, the refs aren’t calling this stuff and I feel teams will keep doing it until the do. Not really keen to losing a guy even for a quarter due to a cheap shot in the playoffs

It's going to happen. Just have to weather the storm and hope it's not someone like Jalen or Saquon.

Not only do we want WSH to beat TB because it gets the Bucs out of our path, it also means we get an extra day of rest on our opponent in the Divisional Round if we advance, because the MIN/LAR game is on MNF.

Baltimore's not winning the SB with that pass defense. I think Detroit, Buffalo and Kansas City are our biggest impediments.

Baltimore isn’t as great on Defense as it’s been over the yrs. Run game offensively is great but outside of Andrew’s and Flowers who do they have on offense skillset that scares you in the passing game? Nothing

So we really want Washington to win, right??? Ugh.
I want tb
you'd rather play tampa than minny/la?
I want revenge
ok, but once your anger calms down and you think clearly about what gives us the best chance to win.... then we want wash right?

Yeah i guess. Daniels scares me though
we wouldn't play washington though, they'd play Detroit.

Washington is the only team we can't play next week.

If we face Daniels it would be NFC Champ game at the Linc. Bring it on.

Or Detroit

any intel/guesses on if we will play sat or sunday? @The Noid
Probably Sunday if Washington wins. No way they make Rams/Vikings play on 5 days rest
The winner of tomorrow’s game has to be the late Sunday game no matter what I assume?

Will definitely be Sunday if Washington wins. After watching the LAC lay an egg, I fully expect Minnesota to blow out the Rams. Too much going on in California for these guys.
