2025 Bold Predictions (2 Viewers)

One for each conference:

Aaron Glenn wins coach of the year as the Jets end a 15-year playoff drought winning games with ball control, winning turnover battles and defense. Justin Fields gets extended.

JJ McCarthy is not only better than Darnold, but better than Cousins was too. Vikings win the NFC North, and a playoff game, while McCarthy has top-5 passing numbers.

Travis Hunter will play more D than O and win DROY
Every Browns QB (sans DeShaun) will start at least 1 game
JJ McCaffrey finishes Top 10 in passing yards
Jordan James leads SF in rushing after CMC goes down with another injury
Tyler Warren runs, passes and catches a TD
Commanders win the NFC, Carolina makes the playoffs

One for each conference... love it.
  • NFC: Ben Johnson improves the offense and CHI and turns Loveland into the next LaPorta. Loveland ends a top 3 TE by end of season
  • AFC: Kansas City finally regresses and Denver wins the division behind the legs of JK Dobbins and their defense.

BOLDISH
Achane to the surprise of many stays healthy and leads all running backs in FF points.

Garrett Wilson hits top 5 status as him and Fields reunite and try to keep up with their opponents score.

Daniel Jones leads the Colts back to the playoffs.

Kittle finishes as TE1.

Buc’s end up with the NFLs best record.

BOLDER
Washington and Kansas City miss the playoffs.

Quinshon Judkins wins OROY.

Arizona Cardinals win their division.

Bo Nix wins MVP honors.

Jalen Milroe starts the last half of the year and leads QBs in FF points during that stretch.

Ooh! It’s gut flag planting SZN! :pickle:

• JJM & Cam Ward will both be top 12 FF QBs.

• Sam Darnold will be a top 10 FF QB.

• Rashee Rice will join the elite ranks this season, regardless of whether he serves a suspension or not.

• Chase Brown will again be a top 10 FF RB.

• Puka Nacua will miss 5 games with soft tissue injuries/concussions and will be outside the top 20 WR

• Matt Stafford will fail to throw for 4K yards or 30 TD.

• Aiden Hutchinson will lead the league in sacks, garnering both D-POY & Comeback POY

• Deebo Samuel will bounce back to top 14 FF WR production.

• The 49ers will win 13 games & reports of their demise will prove to be wildly overstated.

• Cooper Kupp will have 80+ receptions & 1100+ yards with 8+ TD.

Bonus extra bold:
• DKM & Aaron Rodgers will grow to hate each other to the point that they get into a physical altercation on the sidelines in the middle of a game, as the Steelers go 7-10, missing the playoffs.

The man said BOLD:

The Tampa Bay Bucs will defeat The New England Patriots in The Super Bowl

Evan Engram will be the number one fantasy tight end and it won't be close

The New Orleans Saints will finish 0-17,ok maybe not a bold one so much as an opinion

Trevor Lawrence will finish outside the top 20 in quarterback fantasy points

After a 1-7 start Jerry Jones will sell The Cowboys

I'll take a couple swings.

NFC West: Zach Charbonnet out-touches and out-scores Ken Walker despite KW playing every game.
NFC North: Rome Odunze is a top 20 WR while no Packers WR is top 30.
NFC East: Jaydon Blue outscores Javonte Williams and Deebo Samuel outscores Terry McLaurin.
NFC South: Drake London is a top 5 WR and the top Saints passer is not currently on their roster.

AFC West: The Broncos win the division and two wildcards also come from the division.
AFC North: Jaylen Warren logs over 1300 scrimmage yards but only scores 2 TDs. TJ Watt does not play another game as a Steeler.
AFC East: Drake Maye leads the Patriots in rushing TDs and Darren Waller posts a top 10 TE season despite the rust.
AFC South: Daniel Jones is top scoring QB in the division. Nick Chubb outscores Joe Mixon.

Only thing bouncing on Deebo is that 3 month preggo belly he’s running with ..

Not trying to be a contrarian but feel like he properly got the assignment right on being BOLD while keeping it realistic and the presentation by divisions was top notch.

  • Chase, Puka and Lamb finish as the fantasy WR2 on their perspective teams

  • Michael Penix finishes as a top 5 QB for fantasy throwing for 4500+ and 30+

  • The Chiefs miss the playoffs finishing the season with a losing record and Andy Reid, Travis Kecle and more retire/leave

I’ll go by division. More chances to laugh later.

NFC West: Marvin Harrison jr reminds us why he was so hyped. Pro bowl.
NFC North: lions start 3-7 end up 10-7
NFC East: The top two records in the NFC, but neither make the Super Bowl
NFC South: Bryce Young earns a spot in the pro bowl and is a a top 15 FF QB

AFC West: All 4 teams have a chance to make the playoffs with 2 weeks left.
AFC North: Burrow throws for 5,478 yards.
AFC East: DA2k
AFC South: Cam Ward OPOY and has consideration for the pro bowl.

NFC: Eagles break the streak and win the East in week 18 by beating Washington. Bears make the playoffs
AFC: Daniel Jones wins comeback player of the year as he leads Colts to the playoffs and a WC win. Jets look better behind Fields but ultimately fall short

Jalen Hurts will be top QB and most likely MVP candidate. The Eagles simply did not have to pass last year. Saquon lots of miles last year. They should be in fewer such favorable game scripts this year. Hurts still has weapons and the Tush Push remains.

All the talk is about how Caleb Williams has a great new coach, new OL, and new weapons. Drake Maye will still "out-stat" him like he did last year.

For the next one, I'm assuming Tua stays healthy all or most of the year. If so, De'Von Achane ends up a top 3 back. When Tua was healthy last year, he was simply amazing, particularly in receiving. Without Tua, his target share was 9.5%. With Tua? 18.5%!! In PPR, he had a higher PPG than Saquon with a healthy Tua. Tua used Achane and Jonnu Smith as security dump off options last year, and now Smith is gone...

JK Dobbins breaks the Denver Broncos single season rushing record previously held by TD

Flip side of that coin. RJ Harvey struggles with transition to NFL and struggles to see playing time for multiple reasons.

QB EDITION

AFC EAST: By the end of 2025, Drake Maye will be illiciting legitimate Josh Allen comps with 30 TD's passing and 7 TD's rushing
AFC NORTH: A resurgent PIT offense led by MVP candidate Aaron Rodgers wins the division, while BAL struggles with the injury bug.
AFC SOUTH: By the end of 2025, JAX is looking to move on from Trevor Lawrence
AFC WEST: Bo Nix wins the MVP while dethroning KC & Mahomes as AFC West Champs

NFC EAST: Jaxson Dart gets no starts as a resurgent NYG defense helps them contend for a wild-card spot all year
NFC NORTH: All 4 QB's account for at least 30 TD's (passing/rushing)
NFC SOUTH: Bryce Young continues his career reversal and leads the Panthers to the NFC South title while finishing 3rd in MVP voting
NFC WEST: The Kyler Murray era ends in ARI as his frustrations boil over, ARI disintegrates and a house cleaning takes place at GM/HC/QB.

Both Maye and Nix hit a sophomore slump and are no longer looked at as QB1s in dynasty. (In Maye's case, I don't see this as very bold. He has nothing to work with beyond a one-legged, old, Diggs after finishing as QB 23 last season.)

Kelce has a resurgence and scores 12 TDs.

Dak is a top 5 QB.

I noticed that the vast majority of the "bold predictions" are positive.

Sigh.
There are quite a few negatives, including in the post directly above yours.
Had one of each. Good Dobbins; Bad Harvey
See quite a few negatives mixed in.

NE in the superbowl most negative bold prediction. Devastating season for 31 teams especially 3/4 of the AFC. That's probably the worst outcome I could conceive.

NFC: Davante Adams will return to 1st Team All-Pro.

AFC: Ashton Jeanty will bust so badly we will be comparing him--unfavorably--to Trent Richardson, Monte Ball, and Shonnnnne Greennnne.

I want no part of D. Adams this year.

I could see Stafford peppering Puka with 15+ targets and Adams owners having extremely frustrating weeks.
If he stays healthy I think Puka will lead the league in catches.
