2025 College Football Thread: FSU loses to Stanford in battle of academic powers (24 Viewers)

This afternoon's multiview:
• Michigan v Nebraska
• Oregon v Oregon State
• Auburn v Oklahoma
• Notre Dame v Purdue

Whatcha got?

Notre Dame offense looking sharp. First play of the game was a long bomb TD, followed by a series featuring Jeremiyah Love.

Chris trAsh is getting abused again. Every single time he calls zone, it fails. Set up multiple third and longs with man, to go zone on third and allow conversion. 3rd and long conversion allowed was 5th in the country last year with Golden and is now 127th with Ash.

Wow. Terrible, terrible, terrible clock management by MI. By failing to call a timeout, they let NE throw a Hail Mary now.

I’m not watching so probably a stupid question, but why are assuming no hail mary would have happened if Michigan called time out? I’m obviously missing something.

NE's third down play ended with 15 seconds left. If MI immediately calls timeout, they can't run a Hail Mary because MI will get the ball back and can try their own Hail Mary. And that doesn't even count MI not using a timeout before third down.

Ah, the 15 seconds was what I was missing, thanks. I was thinking it was just a couple.

I didn't think that was PI in the Michigan game. I hate when the defender just has better position and the offensive players initiate the contact and it gets flagged. And this targeting is BS. The receiver turned up field.

So is "maintaining the catch" not a thing anymore? Aurburn got hosed imo.

Doesn't matter he took a step and a half... I thought you had to finish with the ball?

Arnold hangs on to the ball like a kid not wanting to give his toy away.

Horrible pocket presence all day and he missed a wide open Coleman at least twice for tds.

oh my lord is scanny bad crowd was chanting fire fickle at halftime according to friends who were at the game him and mcintosh are not looking so good right now take that to the bank

I love that it's raining in Miami for this game.

Bad field conditions have to be considered an advantage for the Hurricanes, they maybe have best O/D line combo in the nation.

Notre Dame has the worst defense in the country. Getting shredded by an awful Purdue team.
Chris Ash is getting fired tomorrow. It’s worse than a high school DC sorts of mistakes out there. I’m literally not kidding how basic of mistakes he’s making.

This Illinois-Indiana game is the one I’ve waited for all week.

There, I said it.

Speaking of the Big 10, USC gets Sparty playing at 11 PM eastern time. This could be ugly foe Sparty. Next week, the Trojans get a 9 AM local time game at Illinois.

Anyone able to watch ND-Purdue on Peacock? Just gives me a commercial and then the halftime score.

Edit: Apparently just their website version sucks. Started FireTV and it is showing there.
