My daughter is a freshman at WVU this year and although I'm not the biggest college football fan, I just got tickets to the WVU vs. Colorado game in November.
It will be my first game ever, I'm pretty excited for this. Go Mountaineers!![]()
Lots of focus on how Michigan cheating is meaningfully different than everyone else cheating. Gotta have your priorities straight Capella. Can’t believe Auburn claiming all those fake titles didn’t get mentioned here. In 2004 that’s all this thread would have talked about for weeks. Come back @bagger
"The SEC shall rise again!"The deep south trying to console itself with false narratives after devastating losses has been going on since 1865. It's how they cope with "Lost Cause" affliction.

Paul Finebaum is a hypocritical idiot.SAS says the same thing. You guys are in good company. Wonder if Paul would acknowledge the "stolen" titles by the SEC during the bagman years. I'm thinking no.

6 undefeated teams?
Father and brother of KSU QB Avery Johnson got into a post-game fight (against each other) in Ireland. KSU's invitation to the SEC is in the mail.
CFB is back!!!
passively watched this game last night. did it also feel to you like the announcers were a HS booth that got pulled in at the last minute because CBS couldn't get anyone else to call the game?WTF?!?!?!!
We saw Byron Leftwich part 2 and a kicker who learned to kick off youtube and this thread is on page two on the first day of real games?
McShay has OU as the 12th best team. Unfortunately they play like 4 of the other 11 best teams I think. (Texas Bama LSU SC). And also Auburn and Tennessee and Ole Miss and Mizzou. Jesus Christ.
We play some crappy Big Ten team week 2. Should be an awesome tailgate but I don't have high hopes for an exciting game. If they lose to that team...they're probably a 4-6 loss team again and Venables may be out.McShay has OU as the 12th best team. Unfortunately they play like 4 of the other 11 best teams I think. You didn’t mention the best team they are going to play. Week 2.
Seems like a lot of work when you can just pick when you are champion. Alabama and Auburn seem to have figured this out already. At some point the SEC will just expand to 32 teams, play a bunch of FCS teams for non conference games then create their own playoff where the winner is the mega supreme champion of the universe where they will unilaterally declare themselves the best team in college sports, and better than 1/3 of the NFL.
Cloud of myopia down there.
Yes. They were terrible. I will also ask all of you if you have problem with audio while watching ABC? It is REALLY low for me. This has been a couple years now for me. I thought it might be my affiliate when I was in Nashville, but I have since moved to FL and the problem persists.passively watched this game last night. did it also feel to you like the announcers were a HS booth that got pulled in at the last minute because CBS couldn't get anyone else to call the game?WTF?!?!?!!

Yes. I thought it was my local affiliate too. Busy weekend so i missed the games, but I've noticed this kind of thing for awhile now.Yes. They were terrible. Ohio State banning Portnoy from coming into the stadium for Big Noon Kickoff. Is this because he's a Michigan guy or something else? Weird.

I can’t stand the guy but it is an awful look for Day (and the Buckeyes) whether he had anything to do with it or not. No real reason given that I can see so it’s probably just being petty. Day can’t seem to get out of his own way when it comes to UM.Ohio State banning Portnoy from coming into the stadium for Big Noon Kickoff. Is this because he's a Michigan guy or something else?
