I don't know if they had information that Gibbs and Campbell wouldn't be there at their next picks. This feels like you are in a fantasy draft and love two wr that are going in the 5th and 6th round, but you basically tell yourself if you don't get these two players your draft is a failure and then you reach for them in the 3rd and 4th.
I don't like it.
The problem with that analogy is you can't view it as a redraft though because we already have a team. As much as Brad says they don't have a depth chart, they pick the best football players....this shows that is not completely true. They did draft for best fit and needs. Linebacker and a Swift replacement were their priorities.
BTW, Brad was interviewed and he says he has texts and emails indicating there were a couple of teams who were going to take Gibbs before 18. Not sure about Campbell.
