2025 Philadelphia Eagles - Silver lining: Last unbeaten team standing hasn't won the Super Bowl since 2006. Good luck with that jinx, Buffalo! (19 Viewers)

Sometimes you gotta lose a game to take a bigger look at issues. #1 right now is bad OL play and questionable play calling + Jalen not 100% comfortable w the OC yet. All the mistakes that plagued them today are correctable. The passing offense looked good at times today but the timing of the play calls and the non existent run game mixed w and endless barrage of penalties got us today.

The good news is we play Dart and the Giants 2 of the next 3 weeks with either Carson Wentz or JJ McCarthy wedged in between.

Hopefully they wake the **** up now.
This is a team that really needs a bye.

How do you run the ball 11 times in a game you led for 3 quarters? Awful.

The run game blows. If you have a chance to watch the game again just watch each of the guards and center. Cam Jurgens looks AWFUL

I’m more pissed that Barkley is just nonexistent in the pass game. I thought the TD would have work them up to the possibility but nope.

@ShaneHaffnfl

In the last 2 weeks, the Eagles have had 11 possessions in the 2nd half after taking a double-digit lead. They have averaged 2 yards per drive, scored 7 total points (1 TD when the defense gave them the ball at the 25), and have had 8 3-and-outs.

Pretty bad. It's like they turtle but the wrong way

AJ knocked the ball out of Devontes hands at end of game on the last play trying to grab it. I missed parts of the game thanks to dealing with Verizon trying to deal with getting a new phone but I saw AJ taking plays off most of the game. This is a big reason he went from a top 10 pick to a 2nd rounder when he came out of school

I hate to say this, but AJ has become a problem and I'm getting pretty tired of it. You do the twitter BS last week and draw a ton of attention on yourself, Jalen and the offense. Enough so that you have to read a prepared statement like a hostage to the media and then follow it up with another twitter spat with Seth Joyner. Inexplicably, Nick and co decide to deviate from what has won the last 21 games (run the ball well and stop the run) to make you happy. They force feed the passing game to you, Davonta, Goedert etc. Jalen bombs a deep pass to you and after all your bitching about getting the ball and "wanting to contribute" you slow up halfway through your route, making the ball too deep to catch. For what its worth, if Brown actually catches that its a TD and your up 24-3 and you almost certainly win the game. When asked about it after the game, he more or less shrugged it off and said "it was a miss". When asked whether he and Jalen talked about it afterward to get on the same page his response was, "no". Thats a ****ing problem and its up to Nick to figure it out. Put these guys in a room together and get to the bottom of whatever is happening here.

You’ll never change his personality. This is why I posted what he said after winning the SB. His ONLY motivation is doing well. He’s definitely the type that’s fine losing if he goes for 120 and a TD. This isn’t new.

Go back a few plays prior to this and you’ll see him open on a crosser. Jalen gets flushed from the pocket but you can see Brown pouting. As soon as the ball didn’t come his way for the deep shot he quit.

And I think the Twitter spat was a fake AJ account that Seth bit on.

To be fair to AJ on Joyner, Seth is a hypocrite. I’ve lost so much respect for him over the years. Gets in fights with fans and talks down to them etc. He even goes after other media he feels are disrespectful. AJ was tweeting Seth about a tweet Seth made himself that contradicted what Seth tweeted AJ. I’d have done the same thing

As for AJ overall. Yeah he can’t dog it after the bs from last week. I think he’s gone after the season IMHO. Either before the draft or designated June 1st trade. Can’t be having problem children like that.
