Hope all who made it had fun. Seemed from watching on my phone more people went this time then last. My boss came in today and gives me the bs I could’ve gone but went about asking the wrong way and I should’ve told him at least last week I wanted to go. Huh ive told him at least 10Xs this year if me made it I wanted to go. I felt bad for my GF who missed the last as she wasn’t even in the area yet. Felt bad that my brother who got into from sometime between SB52 and last year was there and a moment I never thought could happened was missed as well.

Sounded like a good time but complete hell getting out of the city after. My plan was to meet with my cousins hopefully and meet up somewhere to wait out the crowd. I did something similar for the last parade and despite constant detour of what stop to use to get home it was a much better ride home on the MFL.

The man continues to run rings around many other GM/VPs in the NFL
Not sure where he ranks exactly but he would be high on my list.
And I did look up the Hall of Fame and there have been a handful of folks from the Front Office section of the NFL that made it into the Hall of Fame
Another Lombardi Trophy and I would want to discuss Roseman as a potential candidate

That's where I'm at after watching Philly continue to do well in these Drafts.
I know Roseman has had some bad ones, everyone does but he continues to overturn the roster as needed
It's not emotional, it's business and he's not afraid to open up the checkbook to acquire talent and take care of the true Pro Bowlers that grace the team

I've said enough but I watch a lot of Philly games, watched Miami lose to y'all a couple times, I take good notes and Philly is a team I measure moves that Miami makes
Right now in the modern NFL, the Eagles are a team you want your home team to emulate. I have a few of these but Philly is on the short list.

Moore was fine. Def better than brian johnson or sirrani calling plays. But its more about saquan and sticking to the run. The defense was incredible. Complementry football. Fangio was way more impactful imo. Im not that upset moore is leaving. Eagles oc is prob a pretty coveted spot

I think the first half of the season is going to be a little tricky. “Home” game in Brazil than home for Atlanta who won’t be easy, then at New Orleans and Tampa, who I think are not pushovers.

Then the bye.

Then Cleveland, which I’m glad is after a bye, at the giants (not worried), at Cincy which won’t be easy, home vs jax which I guess is not too bad but they could be feisty, then at Dallas. That’s the first 9 games.

Then they have Washington on 4 days rest (probably not that big of a deal) and have to go to LA and to Baltimore. The last 5 games should be relatively easy, as long as everyone is healthy.

Back to the prior discussion about ranking the position group, the ringer’s Philly special pod scored all the position groups from 1-10 and the thing that I mainly took away from the exercise is the lack of depth that the team has. Especially on the o line and the edge rusher position. I know that it is really hard to have quality depth in today’s nfl, but the eagles’ roster is pretty top heavy. If this season goes badly, I think that it will be due to a couple of injuries to starters, especially in those position groups.

The way for it to go well is for the jalen and the receivers and Saquon to be lights out and the secondary really come together.

I think this was actually a pretty good post. The eagles did not have all that much in the way of injuries, Saquon was amazing and the secondary did a great job. To be fair, their depth probably was a little better than I was giving it credit for.
