Derek Anderson is the #3 qb in most leagues...I think he's already broken out. I like your other two picks.
Agreed and anyone that considers Derrick Anderson a 2nd or 3rd tier QB is an idiot. If you look at Anderson's numbers over his last 11 games, he has posted 2,500 yards passing 23 TDs and 2 more rushing. He would be on pace for 3,600 yards and 36 TDs. He has 2 amazing young weapons and obviously knows how to take advantage of them. Most importantly, he is winning. His numbers for this year, prorated over a 16 game season are even more impressive: 3,900 yards and 43 TDs.
I get what he's saying though. Anderson isn't the biggest name out there, and you might be able to dazzle an Anderson owner more than you would say a Tony Romo owner....even if the stats are close. The problem is, the guys that have snatched up Anderson are in love with the guy, and you won't be able to pry him away with a crowbar.
Its hard not to love getting the 3rd best QB in the league for free off waivers.

I'm curious to see who some of you think will turn it around in the second half. Early draft picks that haven't preformed as well as expected for one reason or another, or Late picks / non-drafted players that aren't well known but are in a position to put up big numbers in the second half. I'm looking for Reggie Bush to heat up. I think it's taking some time for him to get used to not having Duece. It also looks like Brees is warming up, so that should open up some running lanes for him. After 8 weeks, a lot of people might be willing to give him up in a trade for less than he's worth, especially if he catches fire.
Lee Evans, he's quietly put two good games together in consecutive weeks..and, Losman is back under center.. :excited:

or my basic rule, any team with no chance of making the playoffs and nothing to lose by giving the unproven more plays to see what they can do (ie Brian Leonard, Kellen Clemens, Ginn Jr)

If (and it is a big IF) Kurt Warner can stay healthy, I could see Warner and A. Boldin having a huge impact down the stretch. Look at Arizona's schedule from here on out:

Nov 4 @Tampa Bay 1:00pm

Nov 11 Detroit 4:15pm

Nov 18 @Cincinnati 1:00pm

Nov 25 San Francisco 4:05pm

Dec 2 Cleveland 4:05pm

Dec 9 @Seattle 4:05pm

Dec 16 @New Orleans 1:00pm

Dec 23 Atlanta 4:05pm

Dec 30 St. Louis 4:15pm

And the thing is, not only do Detroit, Cinci, Cleve and New Orleans have bad pass defenses, they have high scoring offenses which makes for high scoring games for the opposing offense.

Speaking of... Losman is a good play this week at home against the Cincy DEF.

Grant GB he put up some nice numbers

Hall RB Denver, he get his share of carries, possible goal line (disclaimer only if Henry IS suspended)

Henry RB Tenn two weeks two TD's to good to go back to the bench.

The other Henry WR Cinni, fresh legs for FF teams

I think Fitz will do OK, but Warner seems to really like going to Boldin. In the last two games that Boldin has played and Warner has been QB, Boldin has 30 targets to Fitz's 20. He also has been the TD target in those games.

I like this pick. not on too many people's radar. Let's face it, Atlanta's season is pretty much over (1-6) and coming off the BYE probably used the week get him more involved in the offense. I'm thinking he'll probably see atleast 15-20 touches a game from here on out, maybe more if he can improve on his blitz pickups.

I've been trying to trade Anderson for 3 weeks now and had almost zero interest. There are still a lot of people not sold on him in spite of extremely steady performance.
