2nd Round Draft Picks (1 Viewer)

I know there are a lot of scenarios for this, but lets just assume that I get a RB with my first pick at #8. At 2.13, I see 2rb's and 3wr's that I would be very interested in.

Mendenhall and Matthews

Moss, Wayne or Fitz

A top WR is very nice, but I see these last two backs as the last of the non-RBBC.

Thoughts?

Do you expect Rodgers to be on the board at that point? If you go WR or RB there, Rodgers, Brees, Manning and maybe even Brady will probably be gone before it gets back around to you. Assuming 6 pts per passing TD I think Rodgers is the play there if he is on the board. I'm expecting 4750/38 TDs passing and 400/4 TDs rushing.

If I cannot get either turner or gore with #8, I will take Rogers or Brees with the first pick. If that happens, I will take the best available back at 2.13. With this group I'm pretty sure one of the backs will be available at #8. If for some strange reason, Rogers, Brees or Manning is available at 2.13, I will take one of them as well. If not, I'm leaning toward one of the last non RBBC then selecting WR's later in the draft.

2.13....so this is at least a 14 team league? I can't think of many scoring systems where Mendy, Matthews or Moss are going to be available 27 picks in.

After a night of sleep, here is what I am leaning towards:

If I can somehow grab Gore/Turner with the 1.8th pick, I go QB at 2.3 if Brees, Rogers or Manning are availalble (Heavy QB scoring so not sure if they will be around). If not, I go top WR.

If no Gore/Turner at 1.8, I take top QB. At 2.3, I think I will still go top WR. Taking Mendenhall, Matthews or Green is just a reach at that spot. I can still grab a Thomas or Benson at 3.8.
