4 flying objects have been shot down over North America: “Spy balloons and UFOs up to no good” (2 Viewers)

If China wanted to mess with us by getting people all freaked out, fake news / social media bots exponentially exploding this etc…they picked a bad weekend to do it.

It‘s Super Bowl weekend jerks. Joke is on you, no one will give a **** in about 6 hours even if we are under full Red Dawn style attack.

Here's a fearmongering headline from a Baltimore TV station:

"Warplane shot down object over northern Canada, Prime Minister Trudeau says"

Article says nothing at all about a warplane, or any type of plane.
Huh

U.S. fighter jet shot
I should have completed my sentence.
"Article says nothing at all about a warplane, or any type of plane, being shot down."
I'm still confused the headline says a warplane shot an object down not a warplane

The UFOs are weird. Do you think they're here? And if so, how are they going to react to us shooting them down.
I gotta admit I woke up really early this morning and was reading my book - some zombie apocalypse trash - which definitely impacted this. But, when I popped up the news on my phone and was reading about this that was the first place my mind went for a few moments :tinfoilhat:

This is how it always starts in the movies…random reports all over the place mixed into the normal news

Aliens, rogue time travelers, what else can we come up with to scare ourselves?
Scariest to me is some Dr. Strangelove type situation or just a mistake that is amplified by increased tension.

When the plane crashes on the aircraft carrier in “Hunt for Red October” and Fred Thompson’s character admonishes those listening that “this will get out of control and we’ll be lucky to live through it” always comes to mind.

I wonder if a nuclear bomb was launched and directed towards the United States by the Chinese how long it would take their government to get overthrown in a revolt? What are the chances? Great? Slim? None?

I wonder…

How would you sell that to your citizens

How would they sell it to their citizens? They would just lie like they continue to do across the board.

Surely their citizens would find out from a news source. That or the H-bomb that we would drop on their cities. Do you really think you can keep an ICBM nuke or H-bomb under wraps these days?

It would be over so quick and they’d likely be blown up in any case.

Or in the situation where they somehow avoided nuclear destruction they’d have set up a fake scenario where it appeared the US was the aggressor.

And send a balloon over China that has a ton of naked pictures of President Biden in it so that when they shoot it down and investigate it, we can burn out the eyes of the Chinese secret agents that are forced to inspect them.

The stuff around the Great Lakes is pretty wild. They're legit looking for something and fighter jets have been scrambled all over the where.

I think they know exactly that most people are distracted by the Super Bowl. Silly Americans.
This is kinda disturbing.

Thanks for posting. It has long seemed clear to me these UFO reports are very likely the work of another military, but this is the first time I've read someone make the case.

Despite my time traveler/they comment, I've long thought it was the Chinese. This would seem to be Occam's razor.

They're definitely looking for things at these altitudes now.

After the initial episode, NORAD shifted its approach to monitoring the airspace over North America, Dalton added. That effort involves “more closely scrutinizing our airspace … including enhancing our radar, which may at least partly explain the increase in objects that we’ve detected over the past week,” she said.

Ryder said the object shot down Sunday was the same one that radar detected on Saturday over Montana that caused airspace to briefly close in the evening. “North American Aerospace Defense Command detected the object Sunday morning and has maintained visual and radar tracking of it. Based on its flight path and data we can reasonably connect this object to the radar signal picked up over Montana, which flew in proximity to sensitive DOD sites,” he said.

The object was flying at 20,000 feet over Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, a senior administration official told CNN on Sunday. It was “octagonal” with strings hanging off and no discernible payload, according to the official and another source briefed on the matter.

After the transit of the spy balloon this month, the North American Aerospace Defense Command, or NORAD, adjusted its radar system to make it more sensitive. As a result, the number of objects it detected increased sharply. In other words, NORAD is picking up more incursions because it is looking for them, spurred on by the heightened awareness caused by the furor over the spy balloon, which floated over the continental United States for a week

ALIENS

Practically confirmed:

"The U.S. Air Force general overseeing North American airspace said on Sunday after a series of shoot-downs of unidentified objects that he would not rule out aliens or any other explanation yet, deferring to U.S. intelligence experts.

Asked whether he had ruled out an extraterrestrial origin for three airborne objects shot down by U.S. warplanes in as many days, General Glen VanHerck said: "I'll let the intel community and the counterintelligence community figure that out. I haven't ruled out anything."
