Got to ask for forgiveness and take responsibility for his words first.

Yeah, McCarthy & Prescott both had bad “heat of the moment“ post-game statements. 

I get it, it’s been a hard day… But at some point they’re both going to need to come clean and own that loss.

at the end of the day, they simply didn’t play well enough to win. Dallas continuously shot themselves in the foot in that game. The 15 (fifteen!!) pre-snap penalties, the delay of game coming off of the successful punt fake, etc. 

No one call by the refs or snap at the end cost them that game. Even In the context of the ref spotting the ball at the end, Dak ran too far before sliding & couldn’t get the ball back in time. I doubt they win even if the ref spots the ball & gets out of the way! They woulda had .5 seconds! 

Own the loss. Only way to get better.

I deeply regret the comments I made regarding the officials after the game on Sunday. I was caught up in the emotion of a disappointing loss and my words were uncalled for and unfair.
