4th Round RBs (1 Viewer)

Joe Mixon will be Derrick Henry light, incredible opp to score a lot of TDs inside the red zone, inside the 5-yd line, with CJS throwing lasers down field, should be plenty of opp to score
I think Mixon is a terrific RB2 in the 4th

Full or half PPR or PPR at all?

Straight out of fantasy pros. Right before 36 are Kyren Williams at 32 and Derrick Henry

Jacobs, R. White, A. Kamara, James Cook later on Joe Mixon, Kenneth Walker

I’d lean towards Kenneth Walker, Josh Jacobs, and James Cook in that order.
most drafts i have done the rbs go earlier than fantasypros rankings. they just have so many wrs ranked higher it is disproportionate to how people actually draft. most of those go in 3rd and kyren and henry often in the 2nd. still around position rank but like a full round earlier once people start scrambling to get them

in a $50 draft i did last night only kw3 was selected in the 4th. most of those other rbs went in rds 2 and 3 cept mixon who lasted to 5.2. sometimes kw3 goes in the 3rd. 4th round is where i guess the dead rb zone starts. kamara and kw3 would my favorite targets. if i miss on them aaron jones and connor usually fall in next tier in 5th-ish. really depends on how rb hungry your league is. almost every draft is different but in general people value rbs more than the sites rank them. get the guys you like when you can

Appreciate your outlook on Jacobs. I personally think Mixon is washed and it’s only a matter of time before somebody else takes control of that backfield. But coaches value different things than fans do, so I’d proceed at ADP with Mixon instead of random internet guy.

What to say to that? Listen to the man above, Klimtology. Prepare accordingly.

Mixon probably lasted for the reason I gave above. Great info. on the other stuff.

I've never been impressed with Mixon, being honest since you say he's washed.
It's just the landing spot here is bananas
You could be on to something but they really don't have much else behind him at the moment.
It's gonna be boring but 75/TD would seem reasonable most weeks.

They really don’t. They have Dameon Pierce, but the coach seemed to, uh, not care for him. They also have Cam Akers, but who knows what kind of physical condition he is in?

No idea.

In our #21 FBG Home League the fourth round saw Achane go 4.02 (RB13), R.White 4.05 (RB14), James Cook 4.08 (RB15) & Kamara at 4.11 (RB16).

Personally how I would rank them depends on how your team looks after three rounds. Achane is the guy, IMO, with the most variance. He's the best upside/downside option. White is probably the safest play but, for me the best of the bunch in PPR formats.

From fantasy pros-

Cam Akers finished with 112 rushing yards on 24 carries this preseason and looked much more explosive than Dameon Pierce on the field. Fresh off a disappointing 2023 campaign when he totaled just 60 rushing attempts over seven games, one had to seriously wonder if Akers’ career in the league was over. The former 2020 second-round selection exhibited plenty of burst with the ball in his hands in the receiving game and looked no worse for the wear following recovery from his second Achilles tear. Houston beat reporters have been universal in their opinion that Akers will push Pierce for the RB2 job with the Texans — a valuable role on an ascending team behind an aging veteran in Joe Mixon, who has an average draft position (ADP

1/2 PPR, who do you got first?
KW3
R. White
Mixon

That’s a tough call but I’ll be the one that makes it. KW3 just because he’s the best of the bunch, IMO. Home run hitter. Gotta worry about McIntosh and Charbonnet, but Kenneth Walker seems like the better back. You’ve got Bucky Irving in Tampa so that might make things weird for Rachaad White. You’ve got Cam Akers in Houston, but I watched his preseason highlights and he looks as sapped as Mixon does even though they were saying Akers had juice (he might still very well have some—I could have just not seen it).

But I’d go with Walker even though White’s PPR and Mixon’s receiving prowess deserve mention.
