50 or older, share your wisdom (1 Viewer)

I'm curious from the over 50 crowd what happens to a guy as you get older. What types of things, mental or physical, should I plan ahead for?

Check out securetabs.com for Cialis.

Body starts to show signs of wear & tear: knees, hips, shoulders, elbows are all good candidates for rehab.

Sleep apnea

Forgetfulness

Blood pressure problems

Career changes start to become much more problematical... try to be settled in somewhere you like by 50. Or retired.

Lenses for close-up reading are introduced

Falls (like in skiing) that you used to just roll through and shrug off now result in broken bones

Hair becomes an issue for many. Thankfully I have lots of it, but it's all salt & pepper trending towards more salt.

Trips to the bathroom become more frequent. Now I understand it wasn't just that my dad drank coffee.

Colonoscopy... no biggie, but the prep is a nuisance.

Teeth require more work... gum work, crowns, root canals. Find a GOOD general dentist.

That's enough for a start.

Don't be quite so particular about a woman's looks while you are in your 30's. When you get to be 50 you will realize she was more attractive than you thought 20 years ago.

Take 3 minutes every morning or evening to stretch. Just three minutes. Lost flexibility is a curse.

Time passes whether you use it well or not. Make an investment in yourself over the passage of time. Think you're too old to learn a musical instrument, a new language, a martial art, a new hobby? Wake up, you are going to age whether you do invest the time to learn or you don't, but in one scenario you will have a new skill, in the other you will have an old regret. Sure, skill acquisition takes longer as you are older, but not all that much, and who knows, increased patience may more than compensate for the time.

Don't be too quick to pledge your life's resources to a marriage. Romance blinds reason. Tread cautiously, the law does not protect you from the foolish decisions made by your Johnson. Paying for sex you had in the past with your present and future earnings is a matter not to be taken lightly.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
