Anyone dumb enough to do this shouldn't be using up scholarship dollars. The money would be better used elsewhere.

So if you were a taxpayer (if it was a state school) or a private donor, you'd be cool with your $$$ paying for these girls' educations? I know I wouldn't.

Not saying they need their lives ruined, but scholarships are a privilege. In my opinion, anyone who does something like this (either out of malice or stupidity) doesn't deserve that privilege. Plenty of good kids who get through high school without making themselves into a national embarrassment take out loans to get through college. These 6 dopes can do the same.

What other expressions of free speech should we pull scholarship offers for? Is there a list?

Free speech doesn't mean "no consequences".

Public schools shouldn't be pulling scholarships based on protected free speech. Private schools are a different matter.

It's one thing if people that contact colleges, break into computers, and whatever else they do to ruin lives do this kind of thing to actually teach a lesson to people who need one, but that's not it at all. People just want a target that is socially acceptable to do horrible things to, because they enjoy it.

I don't believe tax money goes to scholarships. Endowments are. I could be wrong.
