60-65 inch Smart TV - good recommendations? (1 Viewer)

I know nothing about TVs but moving into a new bachelor pad and want to have a nice one in the living room. Doesnt need to be too crazy so dont want to spend extra money just to have 4k if not necessary. Has anyone seen any great deals lately or have a link to one they have and love? Would prefer to spend $1000 or less, but can spend more if there is a good reason for it. Thanks for any recommendations!

Just picked up a 60" Samsung Smart TV for under $900 at Walmart a week ago. Nothing but pleased so far.

I have the exact same one from best buy. Nothing but good things to say about it so far. when i first got it the wifi streaming was just okay. Since the last service update it has been much better. The remote is just okay but definitely manageable.

I got a 60" LG 4K Smartv 60UF7700 at Frys for about $1250 last month and I love it.

I see its $1600 now, but shop around

Used to be a Samsung guy but I love the LGs. The 60" is $899 and you will not be disappointed.

We are kind of at the inflection point for affordable 4K. I bet next year you'll see everybody getting the 4Ks as they come down in price.

I think its basically the same as the one linked above but 240hz instead of 120. Is that worth the extra $100?
