at least reid thinks those wideouts can will a super bowl...because nobody else does

He obviously doesn't think so. Like I said, they had an agreement in place with Walker, just not GB. Heck, same thing happened with Owens if I remember correctly.

Tell me what superstar WR's any of the recent Super Bowl champs have had? Ward, maybe? If Brown develops this year, between him and Westbrook they have enough receiving talent to win the Super Bowl.

and I like the Eagles but in no way do they have enough receivng talent to win the Super Bowl. In some unimaginalbe way that they win the SB with the WR's they have right now, it won't be because of WR play, but it will be the defense playing at a ridicuolously high level. Philly is a WR away from being really dominant on offense like when they had T. Owens. I am pretty sure that Brown' s development this year will not be able to compensate the lack of depth they have at WR. Heck has Brown ever faced teams number one corners and defenses game planning for him? I like the Eagles and want them to succeed but they need a WR from somewhere.

Which is why it was stupid on the Eagles part to be stubborn and not give TO a new contract. With the draft they just had and how weak the NFC really is imagine with TO how good this team would be for the nexty 3 years at least (of course Dallas would suck without TO....so take that into account). Given how well the Eagles manage their cap, sometimes you have to overpay someone like TO to get you the ring. These opportunities do not come a lot of times. And once you earn the ring, I bet you get enough $$$ in some way to recover that extra $$ you gave TO. Yes TO is an ###, but the Eagles clearly dropped the ball on this. All of the other issues (Mcnabb problems, fighting with other players etc) happened afterwards. If the contract had been re-negotiated to appease TO, the Eagles would be in the SB this upcomogn year, barring unforeseen injuries.
