#7 pick in the 2007 NFL Draft the Steelers select - (1 Viewer)

 Michael Bush

what seemed like pure fantasy before the season with the Steelers probably picking in the 25-32 range in the first round and Bush being a Top 10 lock, a 2-5 record and season-ending injury to MBush make this scenario very possible. This would be the best 1-2 punch in the league with him and Parker

Now if Roeth could just get his #### straight..

OLine needs to be built, but maybe that can be helped in a trade or FA..

Paul Pozluszny would look nice in Pittsburgh, especially if you could use Joey Porter to bring something in.

Bush won't fit in Pittsburgh.

I think they do need to get a QB just to put heat on Ben, right now he knows he will never get pulled or benched.

Why do you think M.Bush wouldn't fit in Pittsburgh? As for the QB, I'm not sure it's Ben's hubris that is the problem as much as it is Cowher's stubbornness. Bill sticks by his beliefs, and it serves him and the Steelers well in many situations. However, benching Ben even for a quarter in a close game would suggest he was wrong to start him in the first place, and he doesn't like to admit being wrong.

Are you kidding me, Bush wouldn't fit?!? He's got Bettis in mid-late 90's written all over, but he's faster. The Steelers need a short and goal guy too. Najeh is definitely not that guy eitherOline is fine...They could use a center probably with Hartings likely retiring, but Starks, and Simmons are both young, Faneca and Smith are in their primes, and Kemoeatu looks to be very good in the future.Id like to see Puz too, esp now that it looks like he has the ability to play MLB or OLB, but im not sure if he's a Top 15 pick, and it sure looks like the Steelers will be drafting top 15

Hey yinzer,

I edited your topic title, and I would appreciate it if you left it that way. There's no need to be coy about what you want to say. Forcing people to open your thread to find out the purpose of the thread isn't necessary.

If you want me to leave the thread in the Shark Pool please don't alter the title again.

Meh, they got Davenpoop.
Anyone who still doesn't understand why Green Bay cut him should have few if any questions remaining after his stellar performance against the Raiders.

i agree that Bush will not go that high. The only top 10 RB I see in this draft is Adrian Peterson, who I would sell my soul to get on my squad

Maybe he won't, but before he got hurt I'm pretty sure he was a consensus top 10 pick. Kiper has him as the #2 senior RB behind Irons (Peterson #1 junior). Peterson's stock isn't supposed to go down and he has past injurt problems. This is the first time Bush has had an injury and I heard it shouldn't affect his draft stock, but he still could come back for his senior year again if he wants (doubtful)

Regardless, the Steelers barring going 8-1 the rest of the year will likely be able to get this guy, whose a perfect fit for the Steelers offense, and Parker would be a great complement/3rd down guy with him
