Nice that Fred Taylor ended up being there, made it easy for you. I'm not so sure about Tatum Bell, but #### that's a nice squad especially if Mike Bell ends up being1 PPR. Start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR/TE, 1 K, 1 D1.08 Johnson, Rudi CIN RBwho did you end up taking the other night in the 5th?Drafting from the 8th spot in a 12 team PPR league.

VERY difficult, especially for those whose QBs score 4 pts/TD. Let us know how your draft turns out, it should be very interesting! My nightmare is...
I'd take Caddy for sure if there. Prfobably Holt over Willis. What are you thinking at 2.03 (or.05) at this point. The likes of McGahee, Caddy, and Holt should be there . . . in non-ppr . . . who/what position are you leaning towards?
Ill post it, but wont be over till late SAt night. Ill try to get the first few rounds posted Sun morninig for you guys.VERY difficult, especially for those whose QBs score 4 pts/TD. Let us know how your draft turns out, it should be very interesting! My nightmare is...
Good luck tonight! S Jackson ended up falling to me at #8.[ill post it, but wont be over till late SAt night. Ill try to get the first few rounds posted Sun morninig for you guys.
I would agree with your assessments - nicely done, your team is solid. Culpepper was QB2 taken in my league - that was a head-scratcher.I had my 12 team redraft yesterday from the 8 slot:
1.8 Rudi Johnson =====C. Williams, Portis and Manning went next (Portis was who I debated)
2.5 Torry Holt ======Fitz, Harrison, Parker, Westbrook were the next picks
3.8 Roy Williams ======Mike Bell was the pick before and Ward, Jones and Chester Taylor the next 3
4.5 Dominic Rhodes ==== Darrell Jackson, Santana Moss, TJ Housh the next 3
5.8 Cedric Benson ====McNabb, Horn, Tatem Bell, Bulger went next. I was debating Bulger with this pick and decided to try and get him in the 6th. Obviously didnt work out.
6.5 Lee Evans ====Burleson, Delhomme, Ahman Green went next
7.8 Joey Galloway ===== Coles, Kinneson, Kevin Curtis went next
8.5 Chris Cooley ======Lendale White, Chicago D, Muhammed went next
9.8 Duante Culpepper ======A. Bryant, Indy D and A. Vinitieri went next
10.5 Seattle D =====Sammie Parker, E. Moulds, Ben Roth went next
11.8 Ben Watson ======Trent Green, E. Wilford, Giants D went next
12.5 Vernand Morency =====Josh Brown, TJ Duckett, Vernon Davis went next
13.8 Michael Jenkins =====Jeff Reed, Duce Staley, Jerry Porter went next
14.5 Brett Favre =====M. Turner, Amani Toomer, Mark Clayton went next
15.8 Michael Pittman ======Miami D, Bubba Franks, Chris Simms went next
16.5 Lawrence Tynes =====D. Gabriel, Randel-El and Lelie went next
IMO
RED = REACH (I could have taken Bulger there and probably gotten Benson in the 6th)
BLUE = VERY GOOD VALUE
Ben Watson was TE12 off the board.
Culpepper was QB13
D. Rhodes was RB23
Drafted from the 8th position in a long-time 10-team PPR performance-scoring league. I'd say 6 of the owners are sharks and the rest are ok, but there were some reaches in the early rounds this year (particularly at QB) that helped me out tremendously. I'll go through the first 10 rounds and mention other value picks that appeared later in the draft:1.08 Ronnie Brown RB (was eyeing Rudi Johnson at this position, but he was drafted the pick before).2.03 Torry Holt WR (my personal favorite to be the #1WR, I was happy he fell to me here. Steve Smith and T.O. went at 2.01 and 2.02 respectively).3.08 Reggie freaking Bush RB (I've been chiding owners in here for the last few weeks for reaching for this guy; I honestly didn't think he'd last this far into the draft; other options were Droughns, Foster, or a borderline low tier WR1/high tier WR2; I chose to go with upside at this position).4.03 Warrick Dunn RB (solid value pick here; right about at his ADP, which I feel is a little later than it should be).5.08 Roy Williams WR (although he's been another player I have accused others of reaching for, I was ecstatic that he fell to me here; he went a round later than he should have).6.03 Todd Heap TE (I agonized over this pick perhaps more than any other; I had told myself I would not draft a TE this early, because I was targetting Watson in the 9th at 9.08 -- Watson eventually ended up going at 9.04 and I would have been really burnt if I hadn't drafted a TE before then. I basically had a dilemma to choose between Heap and Jamal Lewis who was miraculously still available. I already had some good RB depth so I went with Heap).7.08 Eddie Kennison WR (Oh how I was burnt with this pick; Jamal Lewis was actually still UNDRAFTED in the SEVENTH ROUND, until he was picked up at 7.07 right before me. Man was I pissed -- I let out a few loud F-bombs. Would've loved to have had JL there, but alas, Kennison represented the best WR value on the board so I chose him as my WR3; might have been a bit of a reach since his ADP is 09.10).8.03 Lawrence Maroney RB (liked the value here, esp. with the questions surrounding Dillon).9.08 Laveranues Coles WR (another ok pick; right at about his ADP)10.03 Brett Favre QB (my first QB off the board; I was the last team to draft a QB; many other QBs went in rounds 4-6; Bulger, who I was gunning for and who was the fourth ranked QB on my cheatsheet, got snatched up the pick right before me; GD it!)Other picks worth mentioning:11.08 Dominic Rhodes; 12.03 Tatum Bell (can't believe these two fell to me here).Happy with my draft, but would have been much happier with Bulger as my QB1 instead of Favre.
I agree -- I was overjoyed he fell to me there. Addai was picked up at 6.02!!! I had Rhodes ADP at 07.09. agreed! That is exactly what I took yesterday at my draft. I am also seeing Owens falling in drafts into the mid to late 3rd round. Do you guys think that is worth the gamble? Having Rudi, Holt, and Owens could be huge if you can find a couple of viable backs in the 4th on. what do you all think?Lots of Rudi/Holt combos from the 8 spot. I hope for our sake that we know what the hell we were doing.
I hope for our sake that Holt doesn't have a significant injury, or I'll be kicking myself all season for not selecting CJohnson or Fitz.Lots of Rudi/Holt combos from the 8 spot. I hope for our sake that we know what the hell we were doing.

Those first four rounds were crazy good for you in a keeper league.#8 hole. 13 teams (don't ask)...1st year of a keep-41 PPR1 - Portis2 - Bush3 - Moss4 - Shockey5 - Driver6 - F. Taylor7 - Rod Smith8 - M. Barber9 - Kennison10 - Brooks11 - Bruce12 - Bradford13 - Janikowski14 - Fargas15 - Simms16 - Cowboys17 - Pittman
Same boat, though 12 teams. Took Favre as QB1 at 9.08 -- the seventeenth QB taken. They're particularly valuable in this league's scoring, but I still didn't expect that much of a run.10.03 Brett Favre QB (my first QB off the board; I was the last team to draft a QB; many other QBs went in rounds 4-6; Bulger, who I was gunning for and who was the fourth ranked QB on my cheatsheet, got snatched up the pick right before me; GD it!)Happy with my draft, but would have been much happier with Bulger as my QB1 instead of Favre.
Thanks. I was trying to fill out my roster with consistent yet unsexy picks. The key in PPR leagues is to have a couple of WRs who consistently get you 5 for 50, yet have good opportunity to get TDs. Rod Smith, Bruce and Kennison fit this perfectly, and I'm certain I'll pick the wrong two every week.I was hoping to get at least one other young backup RB, but it seemed like they were all stolen right out from under me. Gado, Tatum, Norwood, Turner, and Morency were all sniped within two picks of my turn. Looks like I should have targeted at least one of them a round earlier than I wanted to.Those first four rounds were crazy good for you in a keeper league.#8 hole. 13 teams (don't ask)...1st year of a keep-41 PPR1 - Portis2 - Bush3 - Moss4 - Shockey5 - Driver6 - F. I like your team. Picks I especially like:3 Westbrook4 Driver6 M. Bell (he went mid 3rd round in my draft)7 DeuceThought you were a little early on the kicker and with only 16 roster spots (same as my league), you are sacrificing depth (when some positions are not solidified yet) to have 2 kickers and 2 D's on your squad.Had my draft yesterday as well. I felt a little better about my chances of getting a good back when the guy picking #1 showed why by choosing Manning.I traded 2.5, 3.8, and 5.8 for 2.10, 3.3, and 5.3 - here's how it shook out :1.8 - Rudi Johnson (Manning
, LJ, Tomlinson, Alexander, Brown, Tiki, and Jackson went 1-7)2.10 - Larry Fitzgerald (It was him or Moss.... Holt, Chad Johnson, Smith and Harrison were gone. I was hoping for Parker here, but he went at 2.1. Started thinking Warrick Dunn or Reggie Bush, but they went off at 2.4 and 2.5. LaMont Jordan fell all the way to 2.8, started thinking I'd get him, but no dice.)3.3 - Brian Westbrook (Had him #15 overall, and he was a better option than Droughns or Taylor. T.O. and Boldin were still around, but T.O. scares me and I didn't want 2 Arizona WRs.)4.5 - Donald Driver (16 receivers had already gone and the run was on.)5.3 - Derrick Mason (Strongly considered Brady and Hasselbeck here, but decided to go with my #17 WR. Droughns almost fell to here, in which case, I'd have taken him, but he went at 4.12.6.5 - Mike Bell (If he holds on to the starting job, this is larceny. Was going to take a QB, but Brady and Hasselbeck went 6.1 and 6.2)7.8 - Deuce McAllister (Held off again on a QB, as I was the only one who hadn't drafted one.)8.5 - Jake Plummer (had him as a top 10 QB, so this is decent value, IMO.)9.8 - Michael Clayton (held off on another QB to take my #30 receiver as a backup)10.5 - LenDale White11.8 - Mike Vick (I don't love this pick. Was torn between him, Simms, and Rivers - I maybe should have taken Rivers. QBs only get 1 point per 25 yards rushing in our system and all TDs are 6, so Vick's value is diminished.)12.5 - Jeff Reed13.8 - Tampa Bay D (10th defense taken.. surprising)14.5 - Jon Kitna (passed on another WR to go 3 deep at QB, which I never do. However, he could end up being a starter for me, so in round 14, I took a flyer.)15.8 - Stephen Gostkowski16.5 - Arizona DSo there you have it.
Well the :e: draft ended a few weeks back and I never updated how things shaped up for me.6 PT/TD1 PPR1st year dynasty leagueQB - Bulger, RiversRB - Jordan, JJones, Dayne, Norwood, Barber III, AndersonWR - Fitzgerald, Burress, Glenn, Mason, B. MarshallTE - Stevens, WigginsPK - KasayDEF - Steelers, CardinalsNot the happiest with my RB but as I referenced above, RBs went off the board right and left so with the PPR league WRs represented my best value. This team gives me tools to upgrade my team. Some notes:I drafted Dayne when he was named the starter before preseason. About an hour after the pick M Bell was named the starterFirst year dynasty league I am drafting from the 8 spot (12 team). It is a PPR league. So far my draft looks like:1.08 - Jordan2.05 - Fitz3.08 - JJones4.05 - Plaxico5.08 - D Mason6.05 - BulgerAs I mentioned it is a PPR league but RBs were going off the board right and left. In fact after the 6th round there were two owners who had 4RB and only 1WR. Because of the number of RBs taken, RB options were slim and WR's presented a bigger scoring option. This is now how I played out my draft at all since I figured WRs would go off the board much quicker (S. Smith went off the board late in the 2nd). I thought there would be better options RB options available to me in the earlier rounds but I was wrong. Then again I wasn't happy with the 8 spot to begin with.
