WTF is this stuff?  They were giving away samples in the cafeteria at work.  I got the Tart Cherry - it tastes OK, but I'm like 5 sips in and I feel like the Dave Chapelle Red Balls skit.  I'm wired and hyper as hell.  I'm afraid if I finish the bottle, I'll either drop dead of a heart attack, or cure cancer and invent time travel in the next 15 minutes.

Quite possible. There are plenty of alcoholic kombuchas on draft around here.

Yes. I did the continuous brew method for a while. It works great until you go on vacation for a week. You don't really need to start with a SCOBY. You can start with a bottle of commercial kombucha. It will make its own SCOBY pretty quickly.

I have. Made my scoby using a bottle of GTs. The best Kombucha I’ve had was my homebrew.
