A Movie Californians Won't Want To See.... (1 Viewer)

Big fan of disaster pr0n if done right. I'll watch this on DVD.

One thing, I'm no earthquake expert by any means, but I didn't think earthquakes caused cracks that big. I thought that was debunked after what happened to Lois Lane in the Superman movie? I really don't know.

But what I do know is that the guy at the beginning of Flash Gordon had a button to cause Earthquakes, yet he had never heard of Earth.

Visually it reminds me of 2012 (the awful movie w/John Cusack)...but I'll watch it when it hits HBO.

Earthquakes on the west coast also cant be felt on the east coast. It's science fiction.

The 2004 Indian Ocean was felt half way around the globe. It was so massive, it slowed down the rotation of the Earth. So, I'm thinking it could be felt on the East Coast if it was big enough.

I guess there's a difference between felt by machines and felt by humans. I dont know anyone who felt the 2004 Indian Ocean quake.

The head writer has written some interesting scripts in his time, 21 among them. He's also a member of Gambler's Anonymous. He lives in New York, of course, if you checked the trailer.

This movie is described at IMDB as a movie about a father fighting upstate after the natural disaster to find his estranged daughter. This has the potential to be a vanity project sold for a pretty penny about SoCal and NorCal and writers and...

Forget it. It's disaster pr0n.
