I don't see rushing yardarge allocated to A. Hernandez anywhere in the projections. Assuming this is because it's not normal and nominal if anything for a TE. However, he did have 45 yds last season and lots of talk (blurbs below) of that potentially increasing this season.
my scoring gives extra points to this type of yardage so it's of interest to me. Is 100 yds rushing unreasonable? What are forum users projecting? Thanks.
"Heath Cummings - It wasn't too long ago that we all thought Hernandez was going to be the best tight end in New England. I don't think he surpasses Gronkowski this season, but I do think the extra attention given to Gronkowski will mean a lot more targets for Hernandez. Don't discount what that Patriots showed late last year with Hernandez in the backfield; he could become the Percy Harvin of tight ends."
"Patriots | Aaron Hernandez working at RB (Thu Aug 9, 01:12 PM) - New England Patriots TE Aaron Hernandez has seen some time at running back in training camp. Hernandez has also been used as a punt returner.
Our View: Hernandez can play out of a three point stance from the backfield. He also can line up as a Tight End or Wide Receiver. Bill Belichick loves his versatility and will use Hernandez in a number of different ways. "
